Every Genshin Impact 4.7 Character Confirmed (Phase 1 & Phase 2 Banners)
Summary Three new playable characters are confirmed for Genshin Impact 4.7, though all of them had already leaked.
Two of them are rumored to be 5-star units, with the last one said to be a new 4-star character - though this has yet to be confirmed.
A few leaks mention that some of these characters have Bond of Life mechanics, much like the one used by Arlecchino.
While the game is still moving into the early stages of Version 4.6, the new characters for the Genshin Impact 4.7 banners have been officially confirmed by developer HoYoverse, giving players some insight into what to expect from the next patch. The new playable units had already been leaked before the announcement and, despite the uncertainty at the time, the rumors were reliable. Now, with the confirmation, it seems like HoYoverse learned a lesson for Genshin Impact 4.7 when it comes to content in late-year patches, as this is one of the final updates before the arrival of Natlan.
Natlan, of course, is the Nation of Pyro and War, and the sixth major region from Teyvat. It is the next destination in the Traveler’s search for their lost sibling and a few details about it are already known. Natlan is known to be a land of dragons, where these creatures have integrated part of human society, which is divided into nomadic tribes. These groups are also constantly at war and it is known that the Fatui Harbinger called Capitano has invested interest in these conflicts. Before that, however, there is still more content planned for Fontaine in Genshin Impact.

Three New Characters Are Confirmed For Genshin Impact 4.7
Rarities Are Not Specified, But Leaks Provide Further Information
Close
A total of three new characters were confirmed for Version 4.7. The playable units had their key arts and lore-based descriptions revealed through multiple posts on the official Genshin Impact account on X (formerly Twitter). The three characters confirmed for the next patch are Clorinde, Sigewinne, and Sethos, all of which had previously leaked as the upcoming heroes. Only a few official details about each of them were provided, but a lot of leaks have already been circulating, offering more insight into what players can expect from the trio of new additions.
Everything About Clorinde In Genshin Impact 4.7 So Far
Character Is Known To Use A Sword In Combat
As was announced by HoYoverse in the official Genshin Impact account on X, Clorinde is one of the next characters to become playable with Version 4.7. Aside from her key art, some lore details, and the confirmation that she uses an Electro Vision, nothing else was provided through the announcement. Nevertheless, there are some known details about Fontaine’s Champion Duelist, both from in-game interactions as well as some early Version 4.7 leaks that have been hinting at gameplay mechanics – some of which indicate there is a revolution coming to team comps.

Her rarity has not been confirmed, though based on Clorinde’s leaked gameplay kit in Genshin Impact 4.7, she is going to be a 5-star unit. This seems fitting for a series of reasons. The first of them is her status as one of the strongest fighters in the Fontaine region. She worked as a personal escort for Lady Furina and such a task can only be designated to a superb warrior. In addition to that, her presence in the story and her importance in its development also hint at her being more of a 5-star character than a 4-star one.
While it is unconfirmed so far, Clorinde has been seen using a sword in battle, which is likely her main weapon of choice. It is very unlikely she will use any other weapon type having had a sword showcased in previous in-game cutscenes, however, it may not be her only weapon. Since her debut as an NPC in Genshin Impact, it is known Clorinde wields a firearm and, based on the previous leaks, it seems like her kit will integrate the usage of her pistol, even if she does not equip it per si.
In a sense, this will likely be similar to Mika, who occasionally uses a crossbow in combat even if he equips a polearm.
The leaks about Clorinde mention that she has a special type of damage scaling based on whether or not Electro-based Elemental Reactions are triggered. If they are, she is said to continuously gain damage buffs, in the same manner that Neuvillette does with his Ascension level 1 Talent. Leaks also say that Clorinde has a special coordinated attack mechanic, despite being a main DPS character, though it is uncertain if this is part of her regular gameplay kit or if it is locked behind Constellation levels.
The final detail about Clorinde’s leaked kit is that, like Arlecchino in Genshin Impact, the Champion Duelist is rumored to have some sort of Bond of Life mechanic. Instead of transforming Normal Attacks into elementally-infused ones, however, the leaks say that, by activating Bond of Life, Clorinde gets a 20% bonus to CRIT – though it is uncertain if the buff is to CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG. More details about Clorinde’s kit should be leaked as the game moves towards Version 4.7, but it is still subject to change, so it’s best to take these rumors with some caution.
Everything About Sigewinne In Genshin Impact 4.7 So Far
The Nurse Has A Hydro Vision
Another character confirmed through a post on the official Genshin Impact account on X is Sigewinne, the Melusine head nurse of the Fortress of Meropide. The character has an important role in the story as one of Wriothesley’s most trusted allies but has so far not been playable. Now, she is arriving and is confirmed to have a Hydro Vision – as was seen in her character model as an NPC. Though unconfirmed, the Sigewinne leaks in Genshin Impact 4.7 say that she is a 5-star unit. She has been rumored to be both a DPS and a healer.
The interesting part about the leaks so far is that, like Clorinde, it is also rumored that Sigewinne has a Bond of Life mechanic, which will allegedly affect how much healing she can provide. If true, it seems like HoYoverse is making Bond of Life the next big gameplay mechanic – at least when it comes to combat. Sigewinne is rumored to be a bow user and, based on her usage of a pistol both in the story quests and in her new key art, it seems that may be integrated into her kit in Genshin Impact.
Everything About Sethos In Genshin Impact 4.7 So Far
Character Is From Sumeru
Sethos is the third and final playable character confirmed for Version 4.7 through a post on the official Genshin Impact account on X. This character is from the region of Sumeru and plays an important role in Cyno’s second Character Quest, as he challenges the General Mahamatra. Sethos had already been leaked and is known to have an Electro Vision, which was also confirmed by HoYoverse. Another detail confirmed by the company is that he is a bow user, as seen in his key art.

Sethos is rumored to be a 4-star character instead of a new 5-star, like Clorinde and Sigewinne. His role in team comps and his skills are also unknown for now. There have not yet been leaks about the phases in which the new 5-stars will appear in the banners, nor when Sethos will make his debut. Nevertheless, more details should arise over the next weeks – though it is always wise to take Genshin Impact leaks with a grain of salt because they may be inaccurate or can change suddenly.
