Starfield Now Has A Cool Star Wars Ship Missing From The Movies For 20 Years

Summary The iconic Naboo N-1 Starfighter from the Star Wars prequels has been modded into Starfield, offering a unique single-pilot ship experience.

The ship is accurately scaled and modular, featuring 15 parts including two sublight engines, proton torpedoes, and shielded cargo.

Despite its absence in recent Star Wars films, the N-1 Starfighter has made a comeback in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett.

Starfield now has an iconic Star Wars ship from the prequel trilogy, thanks to a mod. Considering Bethesda's space RPG lets players explore several star systems and planets in a variety of ships, it should come as no surprise that there's been no shortage of mods incorporating elements of other fan-favorite sci-fi franchises.

Modder electionis has added the Naboo N-1 Starfighter from 1999's Star Wars: Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace to the game, calling it "Starfield's first single-pilot ship" due to its smaller scale not allowing other companions and crew members on board like other Starfield ships. The ship is to scale with the one in the movie, and is completely modular, consisting of the following 15 parts:

N-1 Hab

N-1 Cockpit

N-1 bay

N-1 Nano module mount

N-1 Scan Jammer

N-1 Reactor (A-Class)

N-1 Monarc C-4 Hyperdrive

N-1 shielded cargo

N-1 Shield

N-1 Fuel tank

2 N-1 J-type Nubian 221 Sublight Engines

2 N-1 Landers

2 N-1 Laser Cannons, 1 N-1 Proton torpedo, or 1 N-1 Suppressor

N-1 Docker

Naboo N-1 Starfighter Fuselage

The N-1 Starfighter Is An Iconic Star Wars Ship

But Hasn't Been Seen In The Movies Since The Prequels

Close

Fans of the prequel trilogy will instantly recognize the N-1 Starfighter, which was piloted by a young Anakin Skywalker in The Phantom Menace and appeared as part of the Naboo fleet in other movies, with George Lucas even adding them into Return Of The Jedi as part of the post-Battle of Endor celebrations in the Special Editions. The ship was so popular that it appeared in several Star Wars tie-in games at the time, such as Star Wars: Episode 1 - Battle for Naboo, Star Wars: Starfighter, Star Wars Battlefront 2, and the Star Wars: Rogue Squadron series.

Despite the prequels' over-reliance on CGI, several physical N-1 Starfighter ships were created for the films.

Despite the N-1 Starfighter's popularity, it hasn't appeared in any of the Star Wars movies since the prequel trilogy. The ship has recently become Din Djarin's vehicle of choice in the Disney+ shows, The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett after the destruction of the Razor Crest, with Djarin constructing a modified version with the help of engineer Peli Motto on Tatooine. Hopefully, with a movie planned that will revolve around the character, Star Wars fans can look forward to seeing the starship on the big screen again soon.

Din Djarin's armor has also been modded into Starfield, making for a fun combo when used with the N-1 Starfighter.

The N-1 Starfighter is a unique and sleek starship that should come in handy with its speed and firepower. With electionis' mod kitting it out with many of the weapons and engines from the movie, it should make for an authentic experience within Starfield that doesn't feel all that detached from the Star Wars universe.
