Kayko may have been eliminated from American Idol season 22, but he didn't stop responding to his fans on social media, even amid the disappointment. In a post on Reddit that he created, a fan asked him what song choices he was given for the Judges' Song Contest if he had advanced to the Top 8. While he didn't divulge all the choices he had to choose from, he did reveal Ben Platt's "You Will Be Found" from the Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen was the song he would've performed.

On Reddit, Kayko said he plans to record his rendition of the hit Britney song at some point. Elsewhere in the thread, he was asked who he's rooting for now that he's no longer on American Idol. He decided not to call out one person in particular, but instead said he's "honestly rooting for everyone." He did mention that Triston Harper is a "cutie," Emmy Russell is his "long time bestie" and Will Moseley is his roommate.
