Autumn struggles with defensiveness, making alliances, but has potential to improve in the game.

The Circle season 6 has included many twists and turns, but some cast members are difficult to watch onscreen. As usual, The Circle season 6's cast is rife with genuine players using their actual personalities and photos to win the game and catfish leveraging alternate identities. The Circle season 6 provided a brand-new twist in addition to the catfish: one of the players, Max, was played by an AI chatbot. At the same time, the players could not ascertain Max's true identity, a wild ride that set this season of The Circle apart.

In the past, The Circle has cast a wide array of dynamic and entertaining characters regardless of whether they're catfishing. Season 6 started slowly, with no blockings in The Circle until episodes 5-8. However, once the AI chatbot was revealed, cast members' true colors began to show. The cast is more ruthless than ever, and while some players seem to manage that entertainingly, some are so unlikable it's almost difficult to watch. Who are the least likable players in The Circle season 6?

Lauren LaChant

Her Whiny Voice And Innocent Act Are Too Much

Close

Lauren LaChant was popular in The Circle, but she's become increasingly irritating as the game has unfolded. Unlike some players who adopt catfish personas, Lauren entered the game authentically. At 26, she brought her experience as a former Twitch streamer, showcasing her proficiency in engaging with online audiences. Despite currently focusing on YouTube and influencing, her gaming background promised strategic prowess she has yet to unveil.

Lauren's interactions in the game reflect Gen Z's aesthetic chaos. While she seeks to play the game, she's a little too naive in her interactions, as seen in her conversation with Caress Russell, AKA Paul. She purposefully threw Autumn Nielsen under the bus and then became worried other players would hate her. Lauren also hasn't been smart with her alliances, mainly siding with Brandon Baker, AKA Olivia, and now-eliminated Steffi Hill. How Lauren handled Steffi's elimination was unpopular and likely didn't make her many friends.

Lauren is now safe in the game, but her alliances dwindle daily. Furthermore, her innocent facade has become tiresome. She may have been an excellent Twitch streamer, but her Circle gameplay relies too much on her naivety and young, clueless persona. If she can dial down the whininess, Lauren will become likable again. Because of their similar issues in the game, she and Autumn have the potential to redeem each other.

Cassie Saylor

Close

Cassie Saylor was another The Circle season 6 player who started strong but became extraordinarily irritating leading up to her elimination. The Kentucky native made waves on The Circle with her bold moves leading up to the show, including revealing that she catfished her husband to catch him cheating. Despite starting the game low-key, Cassie drew attention with her shady comments, leading to a confrontation with Myles Reed, who drew Cassie in the "poor-traits" game as a "snake in the grass." Her reaction was totally out of line since many fellow players had been drawn in a negative light.

In a painfully annoying and awkward conversation with Myles, Cassie finds out that Myles drew her, making him apologize in front of everyone.

What was especially ironic was that Cassie drew Myles as a bad flirt, saying he had no game. In a painfully annoying and awkward conversation with Myles, Cassie finds out that Myles drew her, making him apologize in front of everyone. However, this only makes Myles look better and Cassie look worse. In a failed attempt to salvage her position, Cassie manipulates her ratings but ends up being blocked due to her dwindling popularity with the group, especially as Autumn appears to the game to replace her.

Jordan “Big J” Staff

He Regularly Mocks Other Players

Jordan "Big J" Staff is playing the game in a way not seen before. While he entered The Circle as himself, he is catfishing as the version of Jordan before losing weight, also known as Big J. Jordan figures his past self is less threatening than his current, thinner self, noting that he is often mistaken for being a mean guy now that he's lost weight. However, the professional photographer is just mean, regardless of whether he used to weigh more.

While playing the game, Jordan often reads other players' messages in a mocking or sarcastic tone. He isn't genuine and is gunning to get Myles out of the game almost immediately. Jordan openly makes fun of his fellow players, specifically regarding their intelligence. While his gameplay is strong, his personality is infuriating to watch onscreen. Perhaps his insecurities were tied to more than just his weight, as he doesn't seem like a nice person.

Brandon Baker AKA Olivia

His Constant Crying Is Irritating

Brandon, AKA Olivia, is a nurse who can be challenging to watch play the game. After the first interaction in The Circle didn't go his way, and Brandon started to cry. While his gameplay has improved, he's still a little too soft, even as he catfishes. His interactions regarding the death of a parent with fellow The Circle cast member Kyle Fuller were undoubtedly touching, but Brandon often seems too sensitive to play this game. He doesn't deserve to be in The Circle anymore, yet he continues to float along in the middle of the pack.

Brandon would be infinitely less irritating if he just played himself, and his insecurities in trying to ascertain how Olivia would speak and react have worn out their welcome.

In a conversation with Autumn, after the group continuously piled on her during a game, Brandon tried to console Autumn. However, his reassurances easily came off as fake to Autumn, who didn't realize it was the human version of a Cabbage Patch Doll behind the screen. Brandon would be infinitely less irritating if he just played as himself, and his insecurities in trying to ascertain how Olivia would speak and react have worn out their welcome. Brandon could redeem himself if he started playing the game more strategically and stopped getting so emotional at the slightest conflict.

Autumn Nielsen

She Got Too Defensive When Targeted

Close

Autumn had the potential to become the better version of Cassie in The Circle, but it seemed to go south right away. The ranch hand has an aloof side and doesn't seem to open herself up to the players in The Circle quickly. When the cast began strategically piling on her, instead of laughing it off or putting a spin on it, Autumn got defensive and nasty. Even when Brandon, AKA Olivia, tried to reach out, Autumn was cold and dismissive.

Lauren and Autumn were paired together for the "ride or die," meaning that if one got blocked, the other would as well.

It can be difficult to deal with the quick shifts in popularity in The Circle, but Autumn does not seem to handle it well. She played into the victim role and wasn't strategic enough to form fast alliances during her late arrival into the game. Autumn and Lauren miraculously survived the latest blocking. While Lauren threw her under the bus, Autumn's first move should be gaining that alliance. If she can put her pride aside, she might become more likable and even win The Circle.

The Circle season 6, episodes 1-8 are available to stream on Netflix.
