Blood and Honey became something of a viral sensation after its first trailer, with its twisting of such a beloved childhood character evidently piquing viewers' interest. While the film itself wasn't particularly well-received, it ended up making over $5 million at the box office on a budget of only about $50,000. The storytelling, scares, and performances were common points of complaint in the reviews, but there's no denying that the movie's designs for Pooh and Piglet were impressive given the budgetary restraints.
