An award-winning game is coming to Xbox Game Pass on May 30 after a surprise announcement. As revealed in the ID@Xbox Showcase (which was hosted on IGN's YouTube channel) and a post by publisher Enhance on X, Humanity will be coming to Xbox Game Pass upon its release on Xbox consoles and the Microsoft Store for PC on May 30, 2024.

Humanity was released in 2023 exclusively on the PlayStation 4 and 5 consoles, PlayStation VR 1 & 2, and on PC via Steam, and Steam VR.

Humanity was certainly one of the most unique titles of 2023. Players could assume control of an ethereal Shiba Inu as they would guide large groups of people through themed levels, avoiding danger and overcoming obstacles with nothing more than a bark, and if players gave the incorrect command, they would watch as whole swathes of humans would fall to their demise. Over time, the scenarios would escalate and introduce new concepts that would encourage more experimentation, offering plenty of fun for players to avoid becoming too repetitive over its 90 levels.

Players can also create their own additional levels via the in-game Stage Creator.

Humanity won several awards such as EDGE's "PlayStation Game of the Year", Gameinformer's "Best Puzzle Game" and ADC (Tokyo Art Directors Club)'s "Best Art Director", while being nominated at The Game Awards for "Best VR/AR Game", and the Golden Joystick Awards' "PlayStation Game of the Year". It also appeared in several "Best Games of 2023" rankings by the likes of Polygon, Game Developer, and Digital Trends.

Screen Rant's review of Humanity gave it 4.5/5 stars and called it a "Must Play".
