As the Forgers travel through Frigis, they encounter many high-stakes challenges, including the restaurant running out of ingredients to make the dish, misunderstandings within the family, and even an intense and near-death experience when they inadvertently become wrapped up in a military mission. 10 Loid Gets Replaced On The Operation Strix Mission

The hero is informed that another agent will be taking his place in Operation Strix, much to his dismay

When Sylvia Sherwood, one of Loid's superiors in the WISE Agency, calls him in for a meeting, the agent is unaware of the terrible news he is about to receive. She explains that the organization is taking him off of the Operation Strix mission and giving his place to another agent, even though he is not as qualified as Loid. This man only received the role because of his powerful connections in the industry and political space, and Loid becomes concerned that the man will fail on this mission due to his incompetence.

Thankfully, Loid later becomes reinstated as head of Operation Strix, because his replacement was caught in an infidelity scandal that severed his ties with the connection who was helping him obtain the job. However, this could've been a pivotal moment in the Spy x Family universe with truly dire consequences. Had Loid been replaced, he would've had to give up Anya, Yor, and his entire fake family, completely altering the plot of the show and perhaps waving goodbye to a handful of beloved characters, so it is for the best that he stayed on Operation Strix after all.

9 Yor Believes Loid Is Cheating With Another Woman

Due to a misunderstanding, Yor becomes absolutely convinced Loid is being unfaithful

Although the marriage between Yor and Loid is fake and both of them agreed to enter the relationship on this basis, it is undeniable that the two are becoming gradually more attached to one another, whether they realize it or not. However, when Yor witnesses an interaction with Loid and his co-worker, Nightfall, from afar, she misinterprets their discussion and Loid leans forward to grab her hat that almost blew away in a wind gust as an act of cheating. This causes her mental state to spiral, as she becomes incredibly jealous and insecure about her performance as Loid's wife.

This scene shows just how far a misreading of a situation can go and the importance of communicating concerns with one's partner early on. Loid notices Yor is behaving strangely and seems unhappy, but this entire unfortunate circumstance could have been avoided had the two just spoken with each other honestly. Furthermore, the extent of Yor's envy at the prospect of Loid having another woman in his life may hint at real feelings blossoming between the two and perhaps a true relationship sometime down the line in the anime.

8 The Forgers Embark On A Family Vacation To Frigis To Help Anya With A School Contest

The family heads out to go taste a delicious meremere dish at an exclusive restaurant

At Anya's school, the prestigious and elite Eden Academy, her professor announces a cooking contest, in which the students must bake a delicious dessert and one winner will be chosen. Loid uses his advanced spy intelligence skills to discover the judge's favorite dish: meremere. More specifically, he loves the meremere at one specific Frigis restaurant, which the Forgers decide to travel to, so Anya can learn about the dessert and how to make it from the source.

This is the first big family vacation that has been pictured in Spy x Family thus far. In previous episodes, the Forgers have visited destinations like the aquarium and the animal shelter to adopt Bond, but never such a large and momentous trip as this one. It is adorably endearing to watch the Forgers grow closer over the course of this trip and, even in spite of the dangerous situations they find themselves in, they never stop helping and protecting one another, proving how attached this "fake" family has become to each other.

7 Anya Accidentally Eats A Special And One Of A Kind Chocolate

When Anya sneaks onto the luggage car of the train, she unintentionally consumes a prized piece of candy

The Forger family takes a train to Frigis for their trip and when Anya sneaks away from her parents, she gets wrapped up in a military scheme. Bond, the family dog, is able to see into the future and Anya reads his mind, learning about some "treasure" hidden in a suitcase. She finds and opens the piece of luggage she saw in Bond's vision and is mystified to find a small piece of chocolate alone in the huge box.

When two military members who work under Colonel Snidel sneak back into the same train car to find the piece of chocolate, Anya becomes frightened at the sudden noise and accidentally eats the chocolate, much to her dismay and horror. This moment becomes pivotal in the rest of the film because inside that chocolate was a slip of microfilm with classified information on it. Anya's simple mistake leads to a complicated and massive conflict later in the film that she narrowly escapes from.

6 Loid Loses A Contest With Colonel Snidel

In the Rubble and Bonds restaurant, Loid and Colonel Snidel go head-to-head in a battle of wits

There is only one piece of meremere left in the entire Rubble and Bonds restaurant and there will be no more until Monday, once the Forgers have already returned home for Anya's school contest. However, Colonel Snidel wants a piece too and the only one left is on the Forgers' table. He challenges Loid to an interesting and creative competition: whoever can guess the exact type of sugar and amount in each dessert at the restaurant wins the prized slice of meremere.

Although Loid has established himself as an extremely talented and experienced spy with a seemingly endless mental repository of knowledge, Colonel Snidel is able to best him. Loid guesses each sugar type correctly, but Snidel takes it a step further by also listing the exact gram measurements for each dish, absolutely flooring the Forgers and restaurant staff with his accurate predictions. This proves that although Loid is world-renowned and gifted, there are still people out there who can surpass his abilities in certain areas with ease, so he must never become complacent and always continue growing as a spy and becoming better if he hopes to be the best.

5 Yor Slaps Loid And Knocks Him Off The Ferris Wheel

When confronting Loid about his suspected "cheating", Yor becomes so surprised by his response she sends him flying off the ride

Through Spy x Family Code: White, Yor convinces herself that Loid is being unfaithful to her. Even though their marriage is all for show, she still shockingly finds herself bitter and envious at the thought of her "husband" being romantic with anyone else and even wonders if Loid will replace her as his wife. However, once they actually sit down and discuss the matter, Loid reaffirms his commitment and alleviates all of her fears in a heartfelt and touching speech on a ferris wheel ride.

Yor is so surprised by Loid's genuine and kind words that she smacks him suddenly, sending him over the edge of the ferris wheel and onto the ground, where he fortunately lands safely next to Anya with no injuries except for a massive welt on his head. This tender moment between the two parents, filled with sweet words, mutual blushing, and nervousness, seemed to signify a deeper connection between the pair. Although they brush past this interaction rather quickly and assure Anya it is nothing, there is certainly a hint that the two are becoming more romantically involved than either of them even realize.

4 Anya Gets Kidnapped By The Military

Colonel Snidel furiously sends two men after Anya after learning she consumed the microfilm, instructing them to retrieve it by any means necessary. The two who abduct Anya are the same men who she encountered in the train car, and she is horrified to see them again, realizing she is in big trouble. They successfully snatch her up and hold her hostage on the military airship, waiting for her to pass the microfilm through her system.

This scene is intense and a bit more high-stakes than a typical Spy x Family scene, since the soldiers even consider gruesome and inhumane methods like cutting Anya open to retrieve the item they're looking for. Luckily, Loid and Yor intervene before any real harm comes to Anya, except perhaps emotional and psychological harm. Anya does a phenomenal job keeping her cool in a terrifying situation, considering her young age, and eventually she thankfully escapes relatively unscathed, without a scratch.

3 Yor Defeats Type F In An Epic Fiery Scene

The deadly assassin battles head-on with the advanced military fighter and comes out on top in the end

The military reveals a terrifyingly strong soldier named Type F whose battle skills are almost unmatched. After fire breaks out on the airship, Yor finds herself face-to-face with the man and is forced to engage in battle with him, fighting for her life as burning debris crashes down around them. In an instance of quick and clever thinking, she conquers her adversary.

Yor uses the lipstick Loid purchased for her on their vacation, smearing it all over and around Type F. After doing this, she sets it ablaze and the oils in the lipstick ignite instantly, engulfing Type F in flames. This battle proves Yor's competence as an assassin and her lightning-fast thinking in a crisis. She should never be underestimated and, in spite of her kind exterior and unassuming roles as Anya's mother and Loid's wife, she is one of Spy x Family's most powerful characters with a whopping kill count.

2 Loid Disguises Himself As Colonel Snidel, Tricks The Military, And Lands The Runaway Airship

When the burning airship begins rocketing towards a town, the Forgers step in to save everyone from harm's way

Loid's spy skills are on full display in this tense and action-packed cinematic moment. He uses one of his infamous disguises to appear exactly like Colonel Snidel and deceive the entire military into believing he is their leader. Once he accomplishes this, he convinces them to evacuate and is left alone with his family on the burning ship, which he now has to safely land without hitting any buildings or people.

The airship is only able to land through the teamwork of the entire family, proving that the Forgers definitely work better together in sync. Anya, Yor, and Loid all grab the wheel of the ship and yank with all their might, freeing the stuck wheel and turning the vehicle's direction at just the right moment to save the town from a terrible fate. This beautiful and meaningful scene allows the Forgers to all cooperate together and fight for a common goal, and with their combined strength and dedication, the results are impressive as they land the ship successfully in the water.

1 Loid Finds The Microfilm And Returns It To WISE

As the Forgers breathe a sigh of relief after landing the runaway airship, the microfilm falls out from between two of Anya's teeth, where it was hidden all along. This is hilarious, since the military members all believed it was likely in her stomach or digestive tract. After retrieving the sought after device, Loid returns it to the WISE Agency, so no one will be able to steal it.

Throughout the film, the microfilm is a hot topic, with everyone searching for it frantically, so this moment wraps up the movie perfectly. Loid's victory here also proves his expertise as a spy and dedication to his missions, even if it requires him to step into potentially dangerous and risky situations. Spy x Family Code: White ends very nicely and satisfyingly, with the Forgers safe and sound at home, closer than ever, and even beginning to plan their next family vacation together.
