All Of Us Are Dead Theory Claims 1 Forgotten Character Will Be Season 2’s Most Powerful Villain
Warning: This article contains mentions of suicide.
Summary Eun-ji may return as a villain in season 2 of All of Us Are Dead.
Eun-ji's tragic backstory and zombie powers make her a perfect antagonist.
Eun-ji's potential escape from the quarantine zone could lead to chaos and kick off season 2 with a new outbreak.
All of Us Are Dead season 1 ended with most of the protagonists arriving in safety at a quarantine zone, but one theory claims that a forgotten character will return as a major threat in season 2. Given how the Netflix K-drama has covered all of its source material in season 1, it is difficult to predict what All of Us Are Dead season 2 will be about. K-dramas based on webtoons usually become original stories when they get a second season, which is the case for All of Us Are Dead.
In addition to the zombies, the All of Us Are Dead characters had to deal with terrible humans, some of whom proved to be even worse than the undead creatures. For example, Eun-ji suffered a lot at the hands of Gwi-nam and his friends. Tragically, while Eun-ji got stronger, her character arc led her into villainy, and she would now be the perfect antagonist for All of Us Are Dead season 2 if she is still alive.

Eun-ji Is Still Alive In All Of Us Are Dead: Theory Explained
Eun-ji might have been taken to a different facility
Eun-ji’s body is never shown in All of Us Are Dead, meaning she could still be alive in season 2. Eun-ji was being kept as a prisoner and used for experiments by the military, who discovered through her that there could be asymptomatic zombies. By the time All of Us Are Dead showed Eun-ji’s holding cell again, she was no longer there. While this could imply that she was killed by the military once they had run all possible tests on her, it could also mean that Eun-ji is alive and was sent to a different location.
If Eun-ji is still alive, All of Us Are Dead season 2 already has a perfect villain.
All of Us Are Dead had no problem killing characters, from heroes to villains. Between Dr. Lee Byeong-chan and Cheong-san, no one was safe in the zombie K-drama. Still, most of All of Us Are Dead’s deaths happened on screen. Therefore, Eun-ji’s status on the show remains unclear. Although not showing Eun-ji’s death could have been just a script or editing decision to make things move faster in the final episodes, her ambiguous fate could mean something else. If Eun-ji is still alive, All of Us Are Dead season 2 already has a perfect villain.

Why Eun-ji Would Make For A Great Villain In All Of Us Are Dead Season 2
Eun-ji has a tragic backstory and has become a threat already
While it can be argued that Eun-ji was already a villain in All of Us Are Dead, her story had a very tragic start. Eun-ji was being bullied and harassed by Gwi-nam and his friends, which almost drove her to take her own life. Eun-ji was about to jump from the school’s rooftop when the zombie outbreak began, leading to one of the most important storylines on the show. Eun-ji found during the zombie apocalypse the strength to fight back, but she almost died again when a group of zombies attacked her.
A character with zombie powers and looking for revenge against the world can make for an incredible villain.
Surprisingly, Eun-ji survived the zombie attack. She became one of All of Us Are Dead's hambies, which are people who managed to win over the Jonas virus and did not fully transform into zombies. Hambies still have the same needs as regular zombies, though, meaning Eun-ji now had the urge to attack people. On the one hand, seeing Eun-ji use her powers to stand up against those who hurt her was great. On the other hand, Eun-ji’s rage quickly went beyond her revenge and turned into something dangerous.
All of Us Are Dead cast Actor Character Park Ji-hu Nam On-jo Yoon Chan-young Lee Cheong-san Cho Yi-hyun Choi Nam-ra Lomon Lee Su-hyeok Yoo In-soo Yoon Gwi-nam Lee Yoo-mi Lee Na-yeon Min Eun-ji Oh Hye-soo Kim Byung-chul Lee Byeong-chan Lee Kyu-hyung Song Jae-ik Jeon Bae-soo Nam So-ju
Eun-ji killed Cheol-soo at the end of All of Us Are Dead, even though they had become relatively close at the beginning of the outbreak. It does not seem like Eun-ji is willing to learn how to suppress her transformation as Nam-ra did. In other words, if Eun-ji is alive, she will continue to be a threat. Additionally, after being used as a test subject by the military in all sorts of experiments, Eun-ji will be even more furious once she returns. A character with zombie powers and looking for revenge against the world can make for an incredible villain.
All Of Us Are Dead Needs New Villains (Especially Hambies)
Eun-jin can be Gwi-nam’s perfect replacement in season 2
Close
With All of Us Are Dead season 2 potentially focusing on the hambies, as suggested by Nam-ra’s return at the end of season 1, there would be no better villain for the show than Eun-ji. Rather than bringing Gwi-nam back once more, All of Us Are Dead could introduce new conflict by having Eun-ji become the biggest threat to the other kids. Considering the group is now living in the same quarantine camp where Eun-ji was taken, she might be the reason why their safety comes to an end.

In theory, no zombies should be allowed inside the quarantine camp. By keeping Eun-ji as a prisoner, the military created a risky situation in which the hambie could potentially escape her holding cell and attack people. It takes only one bite for a zombie outbreak to start within the quarantine zone after all. Following the military’s horrifying decision to destroy Hyosan to stop the virus from spreading, having a new outbreak start from the quarantine camp would certainly lead to chaos. This could be the perfect way for All of Us Are Dead season 2 to kick off things.
Related All Of Us Are Dead Season 2’s Perfect Story Would Make It A Very Different Show A popular All of Us Are Dead season 2 theory about the zombies would make the Netflix horror K-drama a very different show compared to season 1.
Now that the school has been destroyed and the characters are relatively protected, something bad must happen for All of Us Are Dead to have any new conflict. Eun-ji being the cause of a new outbreak would confirm her character as a major threat in season 2 and would bring the show full circle, as she was one of the first hambies in the series. Additionally, with Nam-ra teaming up with other hambies from Hyosan, it would be interesting to have an evil hambie on the other side.
All of Us Are Dead killed off most of its villains in season 1, which is why season 2 needs new characters who can antagonize the survivors. While the show could always introduce brand-new characters, using an established name from season 1 as the next big bad would be even better. Eun-ji has a shared history with the survivors, even though she was not close to On-jo, Su-hyeok, Nam-ra, and others. Eun-ji would also be a great replacement for Gwi-nam, assuming the season 1 villain is dead for good this time.
