Honkai Star Rail 2.3 Leaks: Simulated Universe Is About To Get A Memorable New Boss

Summary Leak suggests the potential addition of a new boss in Version 2.3 of Honkai: Star Rail's Simulated Universe.

The new boss may be one that players already faced in the main Penacony storyline quests.

Uncertainty surrounds the rumored addition of the boss to the game mode, and caution is advised with leaks.

New leaks about Honkai: Star Rail 2.3 have hinted at a potential update to the Simulated Universe and, with it, a memorable new boss fight. Simulated Universe is a weekly roguelike activity found in Herta Space Station, where players choose a World to challenge and go through randomized maps and enemies before facing a fixed boss at the end. After completing the tougher encounters, players get to farm Planar Ornaments, which are key items for every character – they are, for instance, crucial for Aventurine’s build in Honkai: Star Rail.

Recently, Simulated Universe got a new World and a new boss fight with the Memory Zone Meme Something Unto Death. Now, according to information provided by the leaker known as HomDGCat, shared in a post tagged as “Reliable” on Reddit, Simulated Universe may get a new boss in Version 2.3. As seen in the leak, the boss version of Aventurine, first faced during the Penacony storyline quests added in Version 2.1, may make its way into the roguelike activity. The leak mentions Aventurine of Stratagems (Complete) will have three combat phases in Honkai: Star Rail.

Leak Hints At New World & Ornament Sets

According to the leak, during the third and final phase, the rumored Aventurine boss in Simulated Universe will enter a Gamble state, which sees active characters lose HP. When they attack the dice he summons, they also lose HP based on the number of dice that are hit. When players win the gamble against Aventurine, they are said to recover the HP lost to the dice. Additionally, winning the gamble increases the character’s DMG based on the HP consumed – losing it, on the other hand, makes them take increased DMG in Honkai: Star Rail.

“The uncertainty may indicate he will be added to another game mode.”

While the prospect of a repeatable battle against Aventurine’s boss form outside the main story seems enticing, especially when considering its unique mechanics, what is not mentioned and stands out is that, if the leaks are true and he is truly added, then Version 2.3 will have a new World added to the Simulated Universe. In turn, this means that two new sets of Planar Ornaments may also be added with the patch. If they are to be added, it is still unknown what they will do, but more Ornaments in Honkai: Star Rail is good news.

The leak does mention that the new Aventurine boss may be added to Simulated Universe, but the uncertainty may indicate he will be added to another game mode. He could be added to an Expansion Module inside the Simulated Universe, much like the Swarm Disaster or Gold and Gears, which have their own mechanics and are not connected to Worlds and Ornaments. Aventurine could even be added to a Pure Fiction or Forgotten Hall update, debunking the rumors about his addition to the Simulated Universe in Honkai: Star Rail.

Leaks like this one should be taken with caution, as the information provided may be inaccurate or subject to change, in addition to being highly speculative.

Although the information is still blurry and uncertain, the rumors of facing Aventurine’s boss form again are positive news. If he is added to the Simulated Universe via a new World, that is even better, as players will likely get new sets of Ornaments to equip on their characters – even without knowing their effects, it is still great as there are severe limitations to the number and effects provided by current Ornaments. For now, however, players should enjoy the upcoming Version 2.2 and redeem the active Honkai: Star Rail codes in May 2024.
