The Masked Singer’s Transformers Night Promo Teases Wild Card Surprise & Double Elimination

Summary The Masked Singer season 11 Group A finalists are back for Transformers Night with a Wild Card debut and a double elimination.

Wild Card Koala impresses with his rendition of "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" by Tears for Fears.

The panelists have already used the Ding Dong Keep It On Bell, so no one will be saved during the Group A finals, which will occur after Transformers Night.

The Masked Singer season 11 Transformers Night features the return of the Group A finalists, with a Wild Card added to the group and a double elimination. Group A consists of Goldfish, Starfish, Ugly Sweater, and Lovebird, all of whom will return to compete on the theme night that will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the iconic toy, Transformers. During The Masked Singer season 11 premiere, Group A contestant Book was unmasked, and his true identity was actor and comedian Kevin Hart, which was one of the biggest reveals in the show's history.

A Masked Singer season 11 clip, shared by The Singing Pickle via YouTube, gave a preview of Transformers Night. The teasers includes a voiceover that says, "FOX Wednesday, two worlds collide with The Masked Singer and Transformers. The robots in disguise meet a Wild Card surprise."

After Group A Wild Card contestant Koala sings part of "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" by Tears for Fears, the panelists guess that he might be Terry Crews (Rita Ora), Michael Irvin (Robin Thicke), or Deion Sanders (Ken Jeong). The voiceover continues with, "No one is safe with a double elimination."

Who’s Most At Risk Of Being Eliminated On The Masked Singer?

There was no Smackdown during Group A's debut because Kevin Hart unmasked himself, so it's unknown who received the least number of votes. However, Goldfish and Ugly Sweater were the two stronger singers, so they will probably be safe. Based on his vocals from the preview clip, Wild Card contestant Koala could be some strong competition for Starfish and Lovebird. Now that the Masked Singer panelists have used their only save of the season when they rang the Ding Dong Keep It On Bell to save Group C's Poodle Moth, the double elimination for the Group A finals next week is certain as well. However, it wouldn't have been in play this week.

It's interesting that the Masked Singer panelists all guessed former professional football players for Koala's identity. There haven't been any possible athletes during the season so far, so this will be a unique and fun one for sports fans to guess. Koala has a strong voice, so there's a good chance that he could advance in the competition. Group C's Wild Card, Sir Lion (Billy Bush), was eliminated during his debut, so Koala would be the first Wild Card of the season to move on to the next round. The Group B Wild Card contestant hasn't been revealed yet.

The Masked Singer Group A is the largest group with five performers competing during Transformers Night, so a double elimination is necessary. However, the Group A finals, which will occur the following week, will also end in a double elimination because the Masked Singer panelists have already used the Ding Dong Keep It On Bell. The bell was only going to be an option for Battle Royale competitions in the finals, but it's now out of play. This makes the stakes even higher for the Masked Singer season 11 Group A contestants, which means that the audience is in for some spectacular performances.

The Masked Singer season 11 airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on FOX.
