Today's Connections Hints & Answers For April 10, 2024 (Puzzle #303)
The mid-week Connections is here and there are some fun categories in today's game, especially for fans of Quentin Tarantino movies. A nice mix of topics is required for a great Connections day and these choices are certainly fun ones. If you are having trouble with today's game, one of the best pieces of advice is to utilize the shuffle button provided.
Mixing up the order of words is an easy way to help your brain see different combinations. Oftentimes. Connections will also place words next to other words on purpose in a way to trick you into seeing a match that isn't actually the right answer. For example, in a previous game, they used the words SPONGE, BOB, SQUARE, and PANTS all at the top. It was an almost guaranteed wasted attempt for many that day. Shuffling it all up helps remove the temptation and see better matches.

Yellow Answers: Revealed & Explained
PERSON IN CHARGE CHAIR CHIEF HEAD DIRECTOR
Ask around the offices here at Screen Rant and they'll tell you, I am the one person who is furthest from any of these words above. We still definitely scored yellow first though as it was a pretty easy category.
CHIEF and DIRECTOR were the two words that immediately caught our attention and the others fell right in line. The combination of HEAD and CHEST did cause us a bit of confusion but since we couldn't find anything else that fit it was quickly dismissed.
Green Answers: Revealed & Explained
GRASSY AREA FIELD GREEN GROUNDS LAWN
Of course GREEN went with the green category. This was our second score and another fairly easy one at that. FIELD and LAWN started this category off and it didn't take much to see GROUNDS fit right in. Despite maybe PEA working with GREEN, we knew this had to be the right spot for it.

Blue Answers: Revealed & Explained
WORDS BEFORE "NUT" CHEST COCO HAZEL PEA
The blue category was the leftover words for us today and despite it being very obvious now, we just didn't see the connection until after it popped up on our screen. HAZEL and COCO should have been the obvious starters here. That's the best thing about Connections though, you only need to solve three of the four to get yourself a win.
Purple Answers: Revealed & Explained
SECOND WORD IN TARANTINO MOVIES BROWN DOGS FICTION UNCHAINED
The final category in order of difficulty, but the third one we solved today. DOGS and FICTION stood out like a sore thumb once we were down to eight words and it became very obvious where to go from there. Quentin Tarantino is one of our personal favorite directors and his movies are always enjoyable.
The Hateful Eight would have to be our personal favorite but there are positives to say about all his flicks. One especially interesting thing is the recent topic of a possible hidden trilogy in Quentin Tarantino movies which Screen Rant recently went into detail about.
