The Night Agent is rated TV-MA for "sex & nudity, violence & gore, profanity, alcohol, drugs & smoking, and frightening & intense scenes". Some of those notes are par for the course. There are scenes of characters drinking in bars and profanity is frequently uttered. There are a few scenes of characters kissing but no frontal nudity and any sex scenes are cut early before anything that could be considered R-rated is seen. The Night Agent is a spy series and has all the requisite combat expected of similar shows. Characters are shot in the head and other parts of the body.
