The humans are eventually successful in doing so, finally making contact with another group of survivors.
The use of this SATCOM key could be a big deal in a Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes sequel, as it could give humans the ability to work together and organize a way to reclaim their planet. Mae getting the SATCOM key to the humans could be on of the most pivotal moments in the entire franchise, with Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes changing the ape and human worlds forever.
