Claim To Fame: 8 Celebrity Relatives Who Should Be Cast In Season 3
Summary ABC's Claim to Fame is renewed for season 3 with a list of potential celebrity relatives to join the cast.
The show features contestants related to notable celebrities, using game-playing strategy seen in Survivor or Big Brother.
Potential cast members include relatives of Madonna, RuPaul Charles, Ryan Gosling, and more, enhancing the show's unique concept.
Claim to Fame is ABC’s best new unscripted show, and there’s a list of celebrity relatives who should join the season 3 cast. The reality series assembles a cast of contestants related to notable celebrities and public figures. During the season, the cast attempts to solve the mystery of who is related to whom. At the end of each episode, one person is deemed “the guesser” and must speculate who one member of the cast is related to. Claim to Fame incorporates the game-playing strategy of reality shows like Survivor or Big Brother with a unique cast.
Gabriel Cannon, the brother of Nick Cannon, was crowned the winner of Claim to Fame season 2. Because of the success of its second season, ABC announced that one of the best reality TV shows ever has been renewed for a third season. Claim to Fame season 3 is set to premiere on July 10, meaning an all-new batch of celebrity relatives will soon be in the spotlight. Past contestants have been related to stars like Tom Hanks, Dolly Parton, and Zendya, to name a few.

8 Madonna
The Queen Of Pop
Close
As the Queen of Pop, a relative of Madonna’s would be the perfect person to cast. Madonna has the most #1s on Billboard across all charts, with 13 #1 singles. She’s accumulated seven Grammy wins and 28 nominations in her career thus far. Aside from breaking records, Madonna pushed boundaries and changed the landscape of the music industry. She embraced her sexuality even though she was reprimanded for doing so at the time.
Madonna is a trailblazer. Claim to Fame has cast lesser-known relatives of pop stars in seasons 1 and 2. It would be shocking if the casting team could convince one of Madonna’s cousins or siblings. There are an unlimited number of clues that the production team could sprinkle around the house and into challenges. Claim to Fame could plant traffic cones as a clue to reference her iconic cone bra moment that's been recreated before. They could also plant graphics on the Vogue magazine masthead. The limit does not exist in terms of Madonna.
7 RuPaul Charles
The Queen Of Drag
Close
Claim to Fame does a great job in terms of casting unique celebrity family talent. Season 2 had the grandson of former United States president Jimmy Carter and the son of astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson. Like the two celebrities just mentioned, casting someone from the lineage of RuPaul Charles would be such a smart decision for Claim to Fame. RuPaul is a queer icon known for bringing the art of drag into mainstream media. He is one of the most notable drag queens of all time, and putting one of their family members into the spotlight would be entertaining.
RuPaul’s charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent have made him an international superstar. It would be so interesting to see what another member of his family is like. Claim to Fame season 1 had the twin sibling of Laverne Cox in its cast, another pioneering LGBTQ+ celebrity. Each season, the casting team has incorporated a relative of a queer public figure into its cast. A relative of RuPaul would be a perfect addition to Claim to Fame season 3.

6 Ryan Gosling
Three-Time Oscar-Nominated Actor
Close
After the bombastic summer of 2023 that Ryan Gosling had, it would be silly not to have one of his family members on the upcoming season of Claim to Fame. Actors are some of the most well-known celebrities in the world. Ryan has been a popular actor for a while, and he’s been nominated for three Oscars so far. He’s been in some of the most popular movies of all time, including The Notebook and La La Land. Ryan has been immersed in the entertainment industry for years and has become one of the most famous actors.
Assuming Claim to Fame season 3 was filmed sometime during 2023, Ryan would be the best actor of a relative to join the cast. The press surrounding his role as Ken in Barbie would be fun to tap into via clues and references on the show. Of course, Ryan has many other projects underneath his belt, but incorporating the color pink, horses, and his fluffy coat from Barbie would bring an added layer of fun to Claim to Fame. There are other celebrity relatives they could ask; however, a relative of Ryan's would be the ideal decision for season 3.
5 Jeff Probst
Host Of CBS’ Survivor
Close
Kinship of Jeff Probst would be a casting decision from left field. As the host for every season of Survivor, Jeff is embedded in the history. Before Survivor, he hosted several other game shows. It would be fun to turn the tables and see how his kinship would fare playing the game, deciphering clues, and battling it out with other celebrity relatives in Claim to Fame season 3. His clues could be anything from parchment paper that Survivor players cast their votes on to Jeff’s torch snuffer.
4 Michael Jordan
The GOAT Of Basketball
Close
Deemed the GOAT of the sport, what other basketball player’s children would be better to appear on Claim to Fame other than Michael Jordan? It’s no secret that MJ had a successful basketball career. Further than that, he’s developed the Jordan Brand into a massive empire. It makes sense that one of MJ’s relatives goes on Claim to Fame. It’s bound to happen at some point, so hopefully, season 3 will be that time.

3 Dwayne Johnson
Former Pro Wrestler Turned Wealthy Actor
Close
A relative of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson would be a great choice for Claim to Fame. He rose as a public figure first as a professional wrestler in the WWE. After that, he established himself as one of the highest-paid actors in Hollywood. The Rock isn’t just an actor, which makes a relative of his a good pick for Claim to Fame season 3. Literal rocks could be used as his clues on the show, which would be fun to see the contestants try to decipher.
2 Serena Williams
American Tennis Icon
Close
If Claim to Fame intends to cast relatives of the best sports players, they should choose Serena Williams. In previous seasons, the relatives of Simone Biles, Brett Favre, and Dale Earnhardt Jr. have joined the cast. There have been no tennis players teased as the relatives of any past players, and Serena should be the first featured. She’s one of the best tennis players of all time and has won 23 Grand Slam titles. They could incorporate the green-yellow-ish color of tennis balls throughout her references in the show.
1 The Jonas Brothers
Pop Boy Band
Close
Claim to Fame already sports two of the four Jonas brothers in its cast, so why not ask another relative from their family to join season 3? Kevin and Frankie Jonas epitomize the essence of Claim to Fame. It would be hilarious to see the other cast members assemble the pieces and clues that lead back to the Jonas Brothers. The show could incorporate clues relative to Kevin, Nick, and Joe, but they could also throw in some fun references to Frankie’s career thus far. This casting would be a fun way to spice up the show.
Based on the reactions Kevin and Frankie exhibit after every guessing ceremony, they don’t know who's related to who in the cast. However, this would shift if one of their relatives was on the show. It wouldn’t be detrimental to Claim to Fame's format if they knew someone else who was in the cast. They’ve met past contestants who have appeared on the show before appearing on Claim to Fame. It would be a shock to the rest of the cast if they were the relatives of the hosts.
Claim to Fame is one of the most recent reality TV shows to air. It combines the elements of an excellent reality show with a new format that pays homage to other great competition series. There are so many celebrity relatives that the casting team could scout to join its show, with a never-ending potential for seasons to come.
Claim to Fame season 3 premieres on Wednesday, July 10 at 9 p.m. EDT on ABC.
