Interview With The Vampire Show Cast & Character Guide

Summary Season two of Interview With The Vampire introduces new characters and a major change in the main cast.

The story of season two follows Louis and Claudia as they explore vampiric connections in Europe.

Lead actors deliver nuanced performances, balancing sympathy and terror while modernizing with Anne Rice's novels.

The second season of AMC's Interview With The Vampire is set to introduce exciting new characters and bring about a major change in the main cast. The series premiered in 2022 and was met with critical acclaim from viewers and critics alike, holding an impressive Rotten Tomatoes score of 97%. Many reviews praised the lead actors for their nuanced performances, which toe the line between sympathetic and terrifying, often simultaneously. While the show is adapted from Anne Rice's classic novels, it also takes some creative liberties to modernize the source material and highlight the subtext of the books on screen.

The first season concluded with Louis and Claudia fleeing their home in New Orleans after orchestrating Lestat's death. Season Two of Interview With the Vampire picks up with the pair in Europe as they search for a new community of vampires, and are taken in by Armand's coven at the Théâtres des Vampires. However, Louis is still tormented by guilt and haunted by visions of Lestat's murder, which is exacerbated by Lestat's connections to the Théâtres. The story is anchored by Louis's modern-day interviews with reporter Daniel Molloy, with whom he and Armand also share a complicated past.
