Road House 2 has now been confirmed with Jake Gyllenhaal set to return as Dalton. Based on a 1989 film of the same name starring Patrick Swayze, Prime Video's Road House hit the streamer in March, following Gyllenhaal's Dalton as he takes on a job as a bouncer at a Florida dive bar. Although the Road House reviews were somewhat mixed, the film was a big hit with audiences and became a viewership success.
Prime Video now officially confirms that Road House 2 is on the way with a new tweet. Check out the post below:
"With nearly 80 million viewers to date, Jake Gyllenhaal is set to reprise his role as Elwood Dalton in a Road House sequel," the tweet says. It's unclear, however, whether director Doug Liman will be returning to helm the sequel.
