Ahead of its long-awaited season 4 premiere on June 13, The Boys is officially confirmed for season 5. The hit Prime Video show, created by Eric Kripke and based on the comic book by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, was renewed for season 4 in June 2022. Though filming had wrapped in April of this year, the show's return was delayed as a show of solidarity with the writers strike. But more recently, with the strikes having concluded, there have been more reveals about the next chapter of the Emmy-nominated superhero satire.
Now, at Amazon's inaugural upfront event, it's been confirmed that The Boys season 5 is officially happening. Check out the video announcement below, featuring Karen Fukuhara as Kimiko.
