All Seed Locations In Hades 2
Using seeds for crafting is not required to beat Hades 2; it’s an easy way to unlock Incantations, Arcana Cards, and other upgrades to make the descent through the Underworld much easier. Instead of simply waiting to find plants and other reagents in scattered rooms, Melinoe can find and plant seeds herself. Naturally, these seeds are spread out across the different zones in Hades 2.
Reagents are commonly used for Incantations that can unlock entirely new game mechanics, such as the Fated List of Minor Prophecies. Although optional, it is highly advisable to invest spare reagents into the cauldron at the Crossroads. Farming the likes of Moly, Nightshade, Deathcaps, and more is extremely time-consuming and arduous. Instead, growing your plants in the Crossroads is a way to expedite this process. Before setting out to find seeds, players should know the locations of these sought-after items.

Where To Find Every Seed
There are 14 total plants that can be used as reagents in Hades 2. Given that the popular title is still in its early access phase, it’s possible that more plants and recipes could be added as the game progresses down its roadmap. Although you can gather any plant you see, not all plants have seeds that can be grown at the Crossroads. Typically, these plants are fairly common anyway so that you won’t miss out on much.

Most plants in Erebus do not have seeds, but these can still be picked up by hand. Aside from digging these seeds up in their native region, you can also get seeds from Narcissus, an undead character found in Erebus. To acquire the seeds and plants on the surface, you need to defeat Headmistress Hecate three total times and perform the Permeation of Witching Wards Incantation.
How To Get Seeds In Hades 2
Whenever starting up Hades 2 for the first time, you don’t immediately have access to the tools required to get seeds. There are various tools for different purposes, including the fishing pole tool. First, you must perform the Night’s Work Incantation at the Crossroads.
It only costs one Moly so that it can be done early. After this, you need to unlock the Silver Spade tool. This tool requires 10 silver, so you first must acquire the Crescent Pick and farm silver in Erebus before gaining access to the spade.
Much like weapons, you can only have one tool active. Be sure to have the Silver Spade equipped before heading to the Underworld.
With the Silver Spade fully unlocked, you next need to perform the Flourishing Soil Incantation to make the soil of the Crossroads fit for growing. This also only requires Moly and gives two initial seed plots. After clearing a room, you should be able to spot any nearby plants and use the Silver Spade to extract a seed from any applicable reagent. Now, you’re finally able to grow your materials in Hades 2.
