Scott Derrickson’s new movie The Gorge gets a tease from Anya Taylor-Joy. Derrickson is a director best known for his work on films such as Doctor Strange and The Black Phone. Taylor-Joy is an actress who has been involved in numerous films and TV shows, including The Queen’s Gambit, The Northman, Split, The Witch, and most recently, as a small role in Dune: Part Two. The actress is about to have the main role in the upcoming franchise film Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, which releases on May 24.
As per Collider, Taylor-Joy explains why she chose to work on The Gorge, and teases its genre. Check out the quote from Taylor-Joy below:
Oh, I was really excited to work with Miles [Teller]. We’re all good friends, but we’ve been wanting to work together for a really long time. I think I was intrigued by the fact that it was semi genre-less in the sense that it was both a love story and an action movie. So, I was excited about that.
