Liz and Big Ed began dating after Rose Vega dumped him in the Philippines. Big Ed had mocked Rose’s financial condition, and her physical appearance, and told her lies, which had earned him a bad rep. However, Liz agreed to date Big Ed and continued getting back together with him after over a dozen splits. Fortunately for her, Big Ed canceled their August 2023 wedding. Liz is now dating a new man.

Liz came across Big Ed’s recent comments about her on a post by blogger Shabooty.

Big Ed spoke about how he couldn’t “change” Liz even though he “tried to shower her with money” in his ET interview. Liz responded to Big Ed’s tall claims in Shabooty’s comments section by writing, “Omg Ed you need serious help.” Liz added that “if Cameo were to die tomorrow, he would be broke.” According to Liz, Big Ed made his mom pay him rent before he kicked her out. Liz had to pay her own rent apart from a portion of Big Ed’s rent when they moved to Arkansas.

Liz admitted that Big Ed only paid Liz’s share of trips that he wanted to go on, and she couldn’t take them because of her busy work schedule. “He made me quit twice,” Liz revealed. Big Ed seemingly “showered” Liz with lingerie, but she paid her own bills and was also the “only one” who put money into the wedding. According to Liz, she didn’t get a “dime” back after Big Ed canceled the wedding. Liz also replied to a fan in the comments when they deduced that Big Ed was making these lies up to stay relevant.

“This is all lies.”

Liz told the fan that Big Ed had bought her a car which she refused to drive because it had GPS. She said Big Ed would not allow her to use it if she made him “mad,” for instance, if she missed her curfew by five minutes. Liz was happy driving her own paid-off car from 2010, but Big Ed supposedly hated it and said that it was “trash.” As per Liz, Big Ed only manages to stay afloat because of Cameo. She said that contrary to what Big Ed said about her, her love language is not gifts.

In case Liz refused to take a gift from Big Ed, he made her daughter Ryleigh take it. Liz says that if the Cameo platform were to shut down, Big Ed would lose all his income. It’s surprising that Big Ed still gets Cameo requests despite the reputation he’s earned for himself thanks to his behavior with Rose and Liz. Liz seems to have been trying her best to keep her cool and not badmouth Big Ed while 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? was still on air, but what Big Ed said about giving her money pushed Liz over the edge.
