How To Build A Rebel Village Outpost in LEGO Fortnite

To aid the Rebellion in LEGO Fortnite, you can now build the Rebel Village Outpost in your worlds. Following a recent update, a ragtag band of Rebels from the Star Wars universe have dropped into LEGO Fortnite with Imperial forces in close pursuit. By building and upgrading the Rebel Village, you can help your new allies establish a headquarters for taking on the Galactic Empire.

Unlike other villages in LEGO Fortnite, the Rebel Village Outpost can’t be built in any location. Instead, you first need to find a preset construction site with the help of some friendly NPCs. From there, you’ll be tasked with clearing starship debris to make room for new buildings and gathering resources to upgrade your settlement. Upgrades and new structures attract new villagers, allowing you to build a thriving settlement.

How To Find The Rebel Village Outpost In LEGO Fortnite

To find the Rebel Village Outpost in your LEGO Fortnite world, speak to Captain Bravara, a new NPC who can be found roaming near your main settlement. When spoken to, Captain Bravara will provide the Macrobinoculars, a special item that you can use to track down the Rebel Village site in your world.

Captain Bravara may not appear immediately, and it can take a few minutes for her to spawn in from a rift. If she doesn’t spawn, one possible fix is to simply exit and re-enter the world.

You can use the Macrobinoculars to scan your local area for a blue Rebel Alliance Starbird symbol. The symbol highlights the location of a cave guarded by Rebel troopers that leads to a new area where most of LEGO Fortnite’s Star Wars content can be found.

To find the Rebel Village, enter the cave and exit through the other side before using the Macrobinoculars again. The Rebel Village site will be marked with the same blue symbol.

The Macrobinoculars will also display red Galactic Empire symbols, which indicate the presence of nearby Stormtrooper camps.

The site features a lot of starship debris and clutter that needs to be cleared out before you can build up the Rebel Village Outpost. Captain Bravara can also be found nearby and will provide some guidance on how to build and upgrade your settlement.

To build and upgrade the Rebel Village Outpost, you will need to clear rubble from specific areas of the village before building new structures. You can then upgrade your settlement at the Village Square by gathering resources and completing additional listed objectives. This is slightly different to upgrading basic villages in LEGO Fortnite, as the resource requirements are generally lower.

The first few upgrades feature basic objectives such as constructing a Rebel Shack with some beds and collecting pumpkins. However, subsequent upgrades can be a bit more complex, requiring you to complete bigger builds or challenge the Empire by defeating Stormtroopers.

Collecting resources such as Knotroot is highly recommended, as it’s likely that you will quickly use up your tools collecting construction materials. The new buildings require large amounts of Wood and Granite.

However, with some effort, you will be able to build a thriving settlement. The Rebel Village Outpost serves as a special home base for exploring all of the other Star Wars content recently introduced to LEGO Fortnite.
