Microsoft recently unveiled the next batch of games that is set to arrive on Game Pass over the last few weeks of May and while its the usual assortment of AAA heavy-hitters and indie gems, those looking for some multiplayer fun are especially in luck. In an age where couch co-op is so often forgotten, it's certainly refreshing to have such a great option when friends come over to visit.

Posted on the official Xbox blog, the company confirmed that Moving Out 2, the excellent co-op puzzle game by SMG Studio and DevM Games, will be available on the service from May 28. The adorably silly game requires players to work together as employees of a ridiculous moving company who takes on the jobs that no one else dares to approach. As a unit, users will need to work together to hoist heavy pieces of luggage, pivot awkwardly shaped couches through small doors, and possibly even transport some toxic (and potentially deadly) cargo.

Currently sitting with a Metacritic score of 80%, it was officially one of the best rated co-op games released in 2023 in a year that was already stacked with excellent competition. It's arrival on Xbox Game Pass will no doubt be music to the ears of players looking for some fun with their partner or anyone with friends desperate for some couch co-op.

Moving Out 2 is especially notable for being an excellent alternative to Overcooked, a co-op franchise that, while fantastic in its own right, is known for being especially frustrating due to its intense pace.
