Hollywood producer and former tennis champion Ashok Amritraj launches Padmashri Dr. Mukesh Batra’s book Feel Good Heal Good at the 77th Cannes Film Festival 2024

Cannes [France], May 16: Padmashri Dr. Mukesh Batra’s 10th book Feel Good, Heal Good: Staying Happy with Homeopathy published by Bloomsbury was launched by globally-acclaimed Hollywood film producer Ashok Amritraj at the Festival de Cannes 2024.

Amritraj has produced over 100 films during his 35-year career with collective worldwide revenues in excess of US$2 billion. He partnered with every major studio in Hollywood and produced films starring the likes of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Robert De Niro, Bruce Willis, Sandra Bullock, Sylvester Stallone, Angelina Jolie, Cate Blanchett, Dustin Hoffman, Andrew Garfield, Steve Martin, Rajinikanth, Antonio Banderas, Jennifer Aniston, Nicolas Cage, and many more.

The International launch was held at the Bharat Pavilion in Cannes on 15 May 2024 in the presence of Hollywood luminaries such as Hal Sadoff who produced Hotel Rwanda; William Pfeiffer who brought Sony to India, along with Government officials, filmmakers from India and the global film industry.

Speaking on the occasion, Padmashri Dr. Mukesh Batra said, “I am very happy to launch my 10th book internationally at the most famous film festival in the world – the Festival de Cannes. At the Film Festival, I had the privilege of talking to the great master of cinema, Francis Ford Coppola, the maker of The Godfather. His new film Megapolis is premiering now in Cannes.

Met the famous actor Shia LaBeouf (from Transformers) and had a ‘transforming’ breakfast with conversations about his famous directors. I am spreading homeopathy wherever I go…

I had the opportunity to present copies of my books to His Excellency Jawed Ashraf in the sidelines of the Cannes Film Festival. In our conversation we spoke about the increasing popularity about homeopathy throughout the world, how France was the largest OTC market in the world and how chemical medicine in mental health causes side-effects and drug dependency. Grateful for the time we could spend together despite his busy schedule.

With Lawrence Fishbourne, the actor from Matrix, Giancarlo Esposito from Breaking Bad and with veteran actor Jon Voight.

And with the two Indian actors, Taha Shah Badussha, who played Tajdar in the latest serial Heera Mandi, and with Rajpal Yadav of Jungle fame.
