Two years after a rare Full House reunion, John Stamos shared some insight into his touching and tragic reconnection with the Olsen Twins. The sitcom began in 1987 and followed Danny Tanner (the late Bob Saget) as he attempted to raise his children as a single father. Focusing on the complicated Full House family tree, it had a relatively uncommon depiction of parenting. The show ran until 1995 and had a sequel that aired from 2016 to 2020. Saget appeared in a recurring role, though he later died in 2022.
Because of the sequel, Full House reunions are far from uncommon. The Olsen twins, who played Michelle Tanner, are the exception, as they neglected to appear in Fuller House. In a newly-revealed Instagram post, however, Stamos revealed that they returned for a reunion in 2022.
As the Full House cast prepared for Saget's funeral in January 2022, they gathered to celebrate his life and legacy. The Olsen twins were present, smiling over a life-sized copy of Dumbo in a black-and-white picture.
