Baker poetically summed the entire experience up by saying, "there may be tears, and there may be a sense of loss or sadness, but it's part of the beauty of it, because it was bounded in time for just this beautiful moment, and then, it's suddenly gone. That's what life is." It's also notable that Baker and Ang were able to record their final lines together in-person, which surely added to the emotional power of the moment.

The entire creative team behind The Bad Batch seems to have been moved by its finale, and they have more than enough reason to be. The Bad Batch was a years-long project that was clearly a labor of love, and having to say goodbye to something so special is not an easy task.
There was also the added emotions of the episode itself. The series finale of The Bad Batch was extremely intense and suspenseful, and its ending was a deeply moving way to bid the series farewell. Seeing all the members of Clone Force 99 survive their mission to Tantiss, especially considering how much worse it could have gone, was a huge relief. Additionally, watching an adult version of Omega go off on her own and say goodbye to her father figure in Hunter was extremely bittersweet. Anyone would be forgiven for crying because of watching such a finale, let alone making it.
