Summary Polar Patriots premium Warbond in Helldivers 2 offers new weapons, armor, and traps for players, enhancing gameplay experience.
The Warbond, themed around arctic elements, introduces new armor sets tailored for stealth, combat, and practicality in battle.
Along with the new weapons and utilities, players can also expect new capes, banners, and emotes to customize their characters in-game.
Arrowhead has announced a new premium Warbond for Helldivers 2, called "Polar Patriots", which will bring new weapons, armor, and more to the game. These Warbonds are often how a large chunk of the game's content is delivered to players, with Helldivers Mobilize and Steeled Veterans launching alongside the game, with Cutting Edge and Democratic Detonation coming in the months that followed.
Each Warbond is themed, with the Cutting Edge Warbond introducing prototype weapons directly from Super Earth's Research & Development department which specializes in lighting, plasma, and laser armaments, such as the SG-8P Punisher plasma shotgun pr the ARC-12 Blitzer, and the Democratic Detonation Warbond focusing more on explosive weapons such as the shrapnel-firing R-36 Eruptor Rifle or the CB-9 Exploding Crossbow. The new Polar Patriots Warbond continues this trend with arctic-themed armor at the forefront, alongside new trap-laying weapons.

New Weapons And Utilities In Helldivers 2's Polar Patriots Warbond
3 Primary Weapons, 1 Secondary Weapon, And A Grenade
Close
The Polar Patriots Warbond will also include 3 Primary Weapons, 1 Secondary Weapon, and a Grenade, and as with all of Helldivers 2's weapons, these have their pros and cons to encourage players to strategize more in battle. The high caliber AR-61 Tenderizer assault rifle dishes out an impressive amount of damage but limited magazine size for instance. Meanwhile, the SMG-72 Pummeler will concuss enemies but will have a slower rate of fire when compared to other SMGs. The PLAS-101 Purifier is designed for those who are patient, as it encourages players to set up a trap for their enemies to fall into, as the longer they hold their trigger, the higher the damage dealt.
As for Polar Patriots' Secondary Weapon, the P-113 Verdict is a gas-operated, semi-automatic lunpistol with the largest centerfire cartridge of its kind for a quick draw that gets the drop on enemies. Lastly, the G-13 Incendiary Impact special grenade detonates on impact and ignites the area in white phosphorus, unleashing massive amounts of damage that will wipe out Terminids and Automatons - and even fellow Helldivers if they don't clear the area fast enough - in no time.
A breakdown of each weapon is as follows:
Name Weapon Type AR-61 Tenderizer Assault Rifle (Primary) SMG-72 Pummeler SMG (Primary) PLAS-101 Purifier Energy-Based Rifle (Primary) P-113 Verdict Lunpistol (Secondary) G-13 Incendiary Impact Special Grenade
The Motivational Shocks utility booster is also added in the Polar Patriots Warbond, which shocks Helldivers back into action after being hit and slowed by bug acid vomit and other attacks. This won't help with area effects like EMS strikes though.

Miscellaneous New Items In Helldivers 2's Polar Patriots Warbond
New Capes, Banners And Emotes
To accompany the new armor looks, three new capes and banners are in the Polar Patriots Warbond. These designs include Dissident’s Nightmare, a white, orange, and camo look, as well as the black, gold, and white Pinions of Everlasting Glory, and the blue and orange Order of the Venerated Ballot, the latter of which is adorned with the insignia of the Order of the Venerated Ballot – a Ministry-sanctioned Patriot’s Club for citizens pledging to preserve the sanctity of voting.
The following three emotes are also included:
Name Action Mime Instrumentation Rock out with air instruments. Call the Helldivers Request an incoming patriotic chat. Distribute Ballots Search for new voters across the battlefield.
So far, Arrowhead has released a new Warbond every month since Helldivers 2's release, offering plenty of new content to cater to a variety of different playstyles. With a regular number of new Major Orders and the title often introducing new - and sometimes returning - Terminid and Automaton threats to keep players on their toes, the new weapons and armor made available through these Warbonds are sure to help even the odds as the Galactic War rages on.
