After a critically acclaimed and popular season 1, Apple renewed the series for season 2, but filming experiences many delays.

Season 2 is expected to bring back characters played by Britt Lower, Patricia Arquette, John Turturro, Zach Cherry, Christopher Walken, Tramell Tillman, and Dichen Lachman, anong others.

Severance star Adam Scott shares a promising new update on the release timeline for the highly-anticipated season 2. First releasing on Apple TV Plus in 2022, creator Dan Erickson's hit mystery series follows Adam Scott's Mark as he falls down a dark rabbit of secrets while working at Lumon, a company in which its employees have surgically separated between their work memories and personal memories. Severance season 2 was confirmed to be in development not long after season 1 released, and it only just wrapped filming after many months of delays.

In a recent interview with THR, Severance cast member Scott reveals that the wait for season 2 may not actually be that much longer. Check out his comment below:

I read that filming just wrapped on Severance‘s highly anticipated second season. What can you share about it, or how do you think people will react? I wish I could tell you and everybody about what’s coming up because it’s going to be so much fun. I can’t wait for people to see it, but I can’t say a word, but it’ll finally be coming out in the somewhat near future and I can’t wait for everyone to see it. That’s basically it. It was so much fun to make. I and many other Severance fans will be patiently waiting. Well, your patience doesn’t have to hold on too much longer.
