Genshin Impact 4.7 Livestream - Date, Time, & What To Expect
Summary The Genshin Impact 4.7 livestream will likely occur in May, confirming new characters and banners.
Leaks suggest two new Electro characters and one Hydro unit with unique abilities debuting in the update.
Story quests with Dainsleif and the new endgame mode Imaginarium Theater are also rumored for Version 4.7.
Unless there are any unexpected delays, the release date for the Genshin Impact 4.7 livestream is already known, and players can start planning to watch it not only for the free promo codes but also for the confirmation of a lot of the leaked content so far. At the moment, the action RPG is past the half of Version 4.6 and moving toward the next patch. HoYoverse has already confirmed the three new characters arriving in the update, though there is still some secrecy regarding the banner structure.
In addition to the characters themselves, there have also been several leaks about the new story content being added with the patch, including campaign quests featuring Dainsleif. While a lot of the information so far is questionable and should be taken with a grain of salt, if true, they should be confirmed during the Version 4.7 livestream. These types of special events are where HoYoverse presents upcoming content and, in that process, confirms or debunks the leaks and rumors for that patch. With Version 4.6 well underway, it’s just a matter of time before the Genshin Impact 4.7 livestream occurs.
Event Should Follow Game’s Regular Schedule

Even before an official announcement, it was possible to predict when the Version 4.7 livestream would occur based on the game’s regular schedule. The action RPG receives new updates every six weeks and the respective livestreams occur two weeks prior, near the weekend. With Version 4.7 set to arrive on June 5, the Genshin Impact 4.7 livestream should occur on May 24. The exact time is harder to predict but with the previous livestream occurring at 8 am ET, it may occur at the same time on the official Genshin Impact channel on Twitch.
What To Expect From Genshin Impact 4.7 Livestream - New Characters & Leaked Banners

As was previously mentioned, the developer has already confirmed three new characters for the update. Clorinde, Sigewinne, and Sethos. Both Clorinde and Sethos are confirmed to be Electro characters, while Sigewinne is a Hydro unit. While their roles, kits, rankings, and weapons have not yet been confirmed by HoYoverse, leaks about how these characters play have revealed such information. Clorinde’s leaked kit in Genshin Impact 4.7 suggests she is a 5-star DPS unit that uses a sword and the Bond of Life mechanic to enhance her damage output. Sigewinne, on the other hand, is rumored to be a healer.

Sigewinne’s rumored role as a healer matches her job as the head nurse in the Fortress of Meropide. It has been leaked that Sigewinne is a 5-star character who uses a bow in combat. According to the same information regarding Sigewinne’s leaked gameplay abilities, she also uses the Bond of Life mechanic but, instead of boosting her damage through the debuff, she increases the amount of healing she can allegedly provide to her teammates.
Sethos is rumored to be a 4-star character who uses a bow in combat. He is said to take on the role of a main DPS unit who relies heavily on powerful Elemental Reactions via his high Elemental Mastery stat to inflict damage. While somewhat scarce, the details about Sethos’ gameplay kit in Genshin Impact 4.7 indicate he may be as effective as Tighnari, though limited by his rumored 4-star status.
Sethos first debuted as an NPC in Cyno’s new Character Quest in Version 4.6.
While the banner structure is only going to be revealed during the Version 4.7 livestream, leaks have detailed what order these new characters will appear in and which other 5-star units may accompany them. According to the most recent Genshin Impact 4.7 banner leak, Clorinde will debut in Phase 1 banners and will be accompanied by an Alhaitham rerun, while Phase 2 banners will feature Sigewinne alongside Furina.
These new reports are more promising than the initial ones that stated Wriothesley and Navia were the rerun units. Furina is one of the best characters in the game and her rerun has long been anticipated by players who want the versatility of the 5-star Hydro character. However, if this leaked banner structure is true, players may be faced with a tough decision, especially those who have limited access to free Primogems.
It is uncertain if Sethos will debut in Phase 1 or Phase 2 banners, though this will be confirmed during the Genshin Impact 4.7 livestream.
What To Expect From Genshin Impact 4.6 Livestream - Leaked Story Quest, Imaginarium Theater, & Events
Dainsleif Is Rumored To Make A Return

Even though the addition of three new characters and the prospect of remarkable rerun characters is exciting for players interested in the patch, there may be even more in store. There have been rumors of a new Archon or World Quest in Version 4.7 that may center around Dainsleif, the Traveler, and their lost sibling. The Genshin Impact 4.7 story leaks even mention Dainsleif and the Traveler’s sibling will fight at some point, though it is uncertain how these rumored events will unfold.
In addition to the possible new story quest with heavy lore implications, it seems like the big new piece of content for the upcoming patch is something called the Imaginarium Theater. First rumored as an update to the Spiral Abyss, this Imaginarium Theater is, allegedly, a new endgame mode with a roguelike element to it. As players progress through stages, it is said that they can choose randomized buffs. The leaked Imaginarium Theater in Genshin Impact 4.7 is also said to have a character loan system.
Imaginarium Theater is rumored to be a big new endgame mode alongside the Abyss that provides its own set of unique rewards.
With the Imaginarium Theater taking over a large part of the leaks, less attention was drawn to events, though some of the rumored upcoming events have been shared. The main flagship event has allegedly leaked and it seems it will draw inspiration from MOBA games, blended with the game’s traditional tower-defense system. There have also been leaks about a F2P weapon in Genshin Impact 4.7, provided by this same rumored event.
Even though a lot of the content has been leaked, the confirmation for each of these details should only come during the Version 4.7 livestream. Luckily, it seems like the game is not slowing down too much, even with Natlan’s release later this year. If the leaks are true, then players will have a lot to do while they wait for the arrival of Nation of Pyro in Genshin Impact in a few months.
