The first official plot description for The Frog, an upcoming Netflix original K-drama, mentions a mysterious woman who shows up at a motel, causing its owner to “cling dearly to his former ways of life." The Frog is described as a mystery thriller series starring Kim Yun-seok as Jeon Yeong-ha, the motel owner, and Go Min-si as Yoo Seong-a, the mysterious woman in question. The cast of The Frog also includes Lee Jung-eun, with the series being helmed by established director Mo Wan-il. The Frog premiers later in 2024.

Although not much is known about The Frog’s story, the series sounds incredibly promising. Netflix’s history with original Korean web productions is relatively new, yet the streamer has already worked with some of the most talented creators and actors from South Korea.
