Aries Self-Determination And Temper Mesh Perfectly With Kylo Ren/Ben Solo

First Appeared In: Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Close

Kylo Ren/Ben Solo often gets a bad rap in Star Wars, but in truth, he's a delightfully complex character and a perfect fit for an Aries. While, yes, Ben Solo is clearly a bit temperamental, his level of ambition and self-determination, both prominent Aries traits, cannot be denied. Although Ben was conflicted throughout the Star Wars sequel trilogy, constantly being pulled between the dark and the light, in all cases, he wanted to forge his own path.

In fact, that was precisely his argument to Rey in Star Wars: The Last Jedi when he argued that they should let everything die—the Jedi, the Sith, and all of it—in favor of their own new system. Even at the very end, Ben embraced what he believed to be the best course of action head on and without hesitation—although, sadly, this meant his demise in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Of course, Ben Solo/Kylo Ren being prone to a short temper (to say the least) also aligns with Aries.

Qui-Gon Jinn, Like Any Taurus, Is Truly As Stubborn As A Bull

First Appeared In: Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace

Close

Taurus is the Zodiac sign well-known for being steadfast, grounded, and incredibly stubborn—all of which describe Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn. When he was introduced in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace, Qui-Gon came across as exactly what a Jedi should be. He was calm, poised, and wise; these aspects of his character undoubtedly align with the Earth sign.

Taurus is the Zodiac sign well-known for being steadfast, grounded, and incredibly stubborn—all of which describe Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn.

However, as The Phantom Menace progressed, it became clear that there was much more to this tranquil Jedi Master than what first met the eye. As soon as the Jedi Council pushed back against Qui-Gon's insistence that Anakin Skywalker be trained as a Jedi, Qui-Gon became entirely obstinate, asserting that, no matter what, Anakin would be trained. Qui-Gon even doubled down on this so much that it was his very last request before he died at the movie's end. If any Star Wars character is the Taurus bull, it's surely Qui-Gon.

The Gemini Twins Are Clearly Luke And Leia

First Appeared In: A New Hope

Close

It might seem like low-hanging fruit, but the truth is, Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker are the Jedi best representative of Gemini for reasons far beyond the two being twins. Rather, the sibling duo reflects the myriad traits that comprise the Gemini sign. This Zodiac is known for intellect, communication, curiosity, and charm. Although Luke and Leia are quite different in personality, they each exhibit these traits, especially in A New Hope.

Luke and Leia are known for their charm in A New Hope, although Luke's is due to his farm boy innocence, and Leia's is because of her snappy, sarcastic attitude. Both are also incredibly bright; Leia is clearly a deep thinker, as she became an incredible politician and led both the Rebellion and the Resistance. This same role for Leia was indicative of her strength as a communicator—in fact, she used those very skills to unify the masses on more than one occasion. Luke, too, proved himself to be an excellent leader and a clever fighter.

Cancers Will Identify With Ahsoka Tano's Difficulty Letting Go Of The Past

First Appeared In: Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Close

While Ahsoka Tano may have been a lively teenager in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, following the devastation of Order 66, she took on a personality much more like a true Cancer. Cancers are known for being caring, intuitive, and sentimental. In fact, Cancers can be known to get a bit too caught up in the past. These traits are certainly reflective of who Ahsoka was during Ahsoka season 1, especially before she entered the World Between Worlds and saw her former master, Anakin Skywalker, again.

Ahsoka was always an incredibly nurturing character, bringing a humanizing approach even to the frontlines of the Clone Wars. However, Ahsoka revealed the ways in which she had yet to recover from her past; despite decades passing, her thoughts remained on Anakin and all that she had lost. This Zodiac is also known for a bit of moodiness, which may explain her 'Snips' nickname from The Clone Wars.

Bold, Passionate, And A Little Conceited... Leos Are Obviously Anakin Skywalker

First Appeared In: A New Hope

Close

It's difficult to imagine anything in Star Wars being more aligned with the Leo Zodiac than the notion that one character is the Chosen One, and that makes Anakin Skywalker the perfect fit. In fact, Obi-Wan said it beautifully himself when he described Anakin Skywalker to Leia in the Obi-Wan Kenobi show. Obi-Wan explained that, like Anakin had been, Leia was "passionate and fearless, forthright." As the lion Zodiac, Leos are known for their bravery and strength. Both are quite befitting of Anakin.

Of course, some of the less savory traits of a Leo also suit Anakin and no doubt contributed to his fall to the dark side. Specifically, the Leo flaws of ego and jealousy were major factors in Anakin's fall. Arguably, even Anakin's more positive Leo traits, such as his loyalty, played a role in his path to becoming Darth Vader. Clearly, Anakin is the best character to represent Leos in Star Wars, and many who share this Zodiac sign will likely be delighted to be the main character.

Virgos Will Identify With Master Yoda's Intelligence And Practicality

First Appeared In: The Empire Strikes Back

Close

Virgos are known for their intellect, problem-solving skills, and hardworking attitude. All of these not only describe Yoda but also reveal why he was so effective as the Grandmaster of the Jedi Order. Even in the face of threats and chaos amid the Clone Wars, Master Yoda remained wise and determined, always working to find a practical solution that would lead to the least amount of damage done. However, because Virgos are so intelligent and regimented, they can become a bit stuck in their ways.

This, too, was unfortunately accurate, at least in terms of Yoda in the prequel trilogy. Although he was introduced in The Empire Strikes Back as a rather odd little alien, in the prequels, Yoda was inhibited by his need to cling to the old ways and to his own point of view. In the end, these flaws unfortunately contributed to the fall of the Jedi. However, perhaps no one but a Virgo could have run the Jedi Temple as effectively as Yoda did at such a difficult time.

Focused On Balance And Diplomacy, Libras Are Undoubtedly Obi-Wan Kenobi

First Appeared In: A New Hope

Close

Obi-Wan Kenobi is an incredibly beloved character in Star Wars, and for good reason. His considerable compassion for others, dedication to justice, and interest in harmony have been evident throughout his Star Wars appearances, from A New Hope to his most recent appearance in the Obi-Wan Kenobi show. Interestingly, these same traits are what align Obi-Wan so clearly with the Libra Zodiac sign.

Despite all that was thrown at Obi-Wan, from the death of his master, Qui-Gon Jinn, to the devastating realization that his best friend and brother had become pure evil, Obi-Wan held fast to his hope for humanity and his dedication to peace. In fact, even at the moment of his death, he was acting both out of service to others (by helping Luke, Leia, and Han Solo escape) and out of hope that a better future was coming. Truly, Obi-Wan is the Jedi most reflective of the Libra sign.

Ambitious Yet Secretive, Scorpios Could Only Be Barriss Offee

First Appeared In: Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones

Close

Scorpios are often misjudged, no doubt because of the associations many have with scorpions. However, being a Scorpio isn't a bad thing; rather, Scorpios have incredible intuition, and they tend to be impressively ambitious and sharp-witted. The issue stems from the potential these skills have, however. Because Scorpios possess such strengths, they often have the means to control others to achieve their own ends. Interestingly, this represents Barriss Offee's Star Wars story quite well.

In fact, in Barriss' most recent Star Wars appearance, Star Wars: Tales of the Empire, Barriss had to come to terms with the missteps she made due to her ambition. Namely, when the Empire recruited her to become one of the Imperial Inquisitors, she accepted, completely forsaking all she stood for. However, demonstrating how a Scorpio's strengths can be used for good, in the end, Barriss became a healer and returned to the light.

The Philosophical Sagittarius Completely Matches Count Dooku

First Appeared In: Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones

Close

The Sagittarius sign is defined by adventurousness, passion, and philosophy, all of which describe Count Dooku. Even before he turned to the dark side of the Force, Dooku was known for pursuing knowledge, and that may very well be what ultimately pushed him toward the dark—wanting to learn more. In fact, Ki-Adi-Mundi even highlighted this in Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones when he described Dooku as "a political idealist, not a murderer."

Unfortunately, the latter was incorrect; however, the description of Dooku as a political idealist is quite revealing. Dooku was, above all else, a thinker, and while it ultimately steered him wrong, his interest in pursuing knowledge and testing (or outright breaking) the rules does reflect his connection to this Zodiac. In fact, one of the key Sagittarius flaws, a tendency to be boastful, was also evident in Count Dooku. However, this connection is nothing to be ashamed of; Count Dooku was an incredibly powerful, intelligent Jedi (even if he did fall to the dark side in the end).

Capricorns Share Rey's Hardworking Attitude And Resilience

First Appeared In: Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Close

Capricorns are known for being hardworking and resilient, two things Rey clearly demonstrated from the first moment she appeared in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. After being left behind on Jakku as a very young girl, Rey survived years of painful loneliness by scavenging day in and day out for the most minimal bits of food. Those traits persevered in The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker when she continued to fight alongside the Resistance even when the most powerful Sith Lord in Star Wars tried to tempt her to the dark.

However, Capricorns are also known for struggling with pessimism and being critical of others. While Rey's persistent criticisms of Poe Dameron could be played off as friendly banter, her pessimism, particularly seen in The Rise of Skywalker, is a more serious matter. Likely, her moments of skepticism and loss of hope (however brief) stem from the same upbringing that led to her resiliency. Perhaps because they are linked, Capricorns may identify with both sides of Rey.

Mace Windu's Rigid Ideals May Feel All Too Familiar To An Aquarius

First Appeared In: Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace

Close

Mace Windu was unquestionably an incredibly powerful Jedi and masterful with a lightsaber. He also had strongly held and honorable ideals. However, he was prone to holding too tightly to those ideals, leading him to make decisions that were either inadvertently or intentionally harmful. In truth, both his idealism and his rigidity made Mace Windu a perfect fit for an Aquarius.

Both his idealism and his rigidity made Mace Windu a perfect fit for an Aquarius.

Those with the Aquarius Zodiac sign tend to be very service-minded, focused on humanitarian efforts and contributing to a greater good. This, of course, lends itself very well to the Jedi, who were meant to be humanitarian peacekeepers. However, Mace Windu is particularly aligned with this sign. Specifically, the idealism that tends to be an Aquarius characteristic can develop into extreme viewpoints. Sadly, this was the case for Mace Windu, who allowed his determination to destroy the Sith and defend the Republic to cloud his morals.

Pisces Intuition Is Perfect For Ezra Bridger

First Appeared In: Star Wars Rebels

Close

Ezra Bridger Created By Dave Filoni Cast Taylor Gray , Eman Esfandi First Appearance Star Wars Rebels Alliance Rebel Alliance, Jedi

Ezra Bridger, particularly in Star Wars Rebels, is the perfect Jedi to represent Pisces. Pisces is known for being extremely sensitive, empathetic, and intuitive. In fact, this sign is largely regarded as the most intuitive of them all. Of course, Ezra has Jedi intuition, but his skills extend far beyond that. In addition to displaying empathy at countless turns throughout Rebels, Ezra also has a clear bond with creatures in a way that goes beyond the typical Jedi.

Specifically, in Rebels, Ezra fiercely advocated for the Purrgil, Star Wars' space whales. Despite Hera Syndulla being wary of them and Ezra having no familiarity with them, he trusted the Purrgil, and his ability to do so saved the galaxy from Thrawn. Interestingly, the struggle of a Pisces is to not allow their emotions to consume them—in a way, the struggle of all Jedi. While there is no doubt a mix of Star Wars characters representative of various Zodiac signs, each of these Jedi perfectly reflects a sign, from Ben Solo as an Aries to Ezra Bridger as a Pisces.
