10 MCU TV Shows We Want To See Get More Seasons
Summary Marvel Studios will be releasing its upcoming TV shows under a new Marvel Television banner.
Reviving Marvel Television raises hopes that more MCU shows could get more seasons, continuing some of the best MCU stories.
Shows including Hawkeye, Moon Knight, Jessica Jones, Ms. Marvel, and Loki could potentially get new seasons in the MCU's future.
Marvel Studios has recently revealed a rebranding of its upcoming projects in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, perhaps allowing more Marvel Television shows to continue with more seasons in the MCU's future. TV shows adapted from the stories of Marvel Comics have always been released alongside Marvel's feature films, and this has grown exponentially in recent years with the establishment of Disney+ and Marvel Studios' own expansion into the world of TV. Unfortunately, the development of MCU-set TV shows has had some noticeable teething issues, but recent updates prove that Marvel Studios is taking progressive steps to improve its TV production.
During the latest Disney Upfronts presentation in May 2024, Marvel Studios revealed that upcoming MCU projects would be rebranded, now set to release under different banners. Feature films will continue to release under Marvel Studios, while TV shows will shift to release under a revived Marvel Television banner, with Marvel Animation handling animated shows, and Marvel Spotlight set to expand after 2024's Echo. Bringing back Marvel Television, with no relation to the old company, suggests Marvel Studios will be putting more focus on its TV series production, perhaps continuing some popular shows with more seasons that haven't yet been confirmed.

10 Hawkeye
Hawkeye Has Been Rumored To Get A Second Season
Jeremy Renner returned as original MCU Avenger Clint Barton in 2021's Hawkeye series on Disney+, picking up in the wake of Avengers: Endgame, which saw Barton lose his best friend, Natasha Romanoff's Black Widow. Hawkeye introduced Hailee Steinfeld's Kate Bishop to the MCU, and brought Vincent D'Onofrio's Wilson Fisk back into action, setting up future projects including Young Avengers and Daredevil: Born Again. While Hawkeye season 2 hasn't been confirmed, recent rumors hint at this being a real possibility (via Comicbookmovie.com).
Speculation suggests Hawkeye season 2 could be inspired by The Raid, Gareth Evans' 2011 action thriller, which may see Clint Barton and Kate Bishop fighting to escape from a single, enclosed location. Barney Barton, Clint Barton's villainous older brother, may also be involved, introducing the perfect dark mirror to Hawkeye. Jeremy Renner's MCU future is uncertain, but it would be great to see him return following his recent accident.
Hailee Steinfeld returned as Kate Bishop in The Marvels, teasing her involvement with the MCU's Young Avengers team.

9 Spider-Man: The Animated Series
X-Men ‘97’s Success Could Lead To More Animated Revivals
Close
After the recent massive success of Marvel Animation's X-Men '97, a revival of 1992's X-Men: The Animated Series, it's possible that more animated shows from the 1990s will be revived. Following his cameo appearances in X-Men '97, the highest-rated Marvel Studios project on Rotten Tomatoes with a critics score of 100%, Peter Parker's Spider-Man has been speculated to be leading a revival of Spider-Man: The Animated Series. This series ran for five seasons between 1994 and 1998, but could be revived as Spider-Man '98.
Since X-Men '97 and potential future animated revivals aren't set in the world of the MCU, there is potential to develop a new shared universe under the Marvel Animation banner. It's unclear whether Christopher Daniel Barnes would return to voice the animated Peter Parker's Spider-Man, as Hudson Thames has recently voiced the wall-crawler in What If...?, and will reprise the role in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.

8 Moon Knight
Moon Knight Perfectly Set Up A Second Season
Released as part of Phase 4 in 2022, Moon Knight became one of the most popular projects in the MCU's most divisive chapter. Oscar Isaac debuted as Marc Spector, a man with dissociative identity disorder who is also the host of the Egyptian God Khonshu, in Moon Knight, bringing the supernatural Protector of the Travelers of the Night into the MCU. Despite its popularity, and Isaac's stellar performance, Moon Knight season 2 hasn't yet been confirmed, but the stage has already been set for the series to continue.
Moon Knight's ending saw Marc Spector and Steven Grant renounce Khonshu, banishing him from their body. However, Spector's third alter, Jake Lockley, was revealed to still have a deal with Khonshu, and this shocking discovery deserves exploration in Moon Knight season 2. This could also bring back May Calamawy's Scarlet Scarab, and potentially connect Moon Knight to the MCU's other supernatural superheroes.
Moon Knight has been heavily-rumored to be a member of the MCU's potential Midnight Sons team.

7 The Falcon & The Winter Soldier
The Falcon & The Winter Soldier Season 2 Could Develop A New MCU Hero
While 2021's The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series didn't really create the opportunity for a season 2, with Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson set to make the move to the big screen in 2025's Captain America: Brave New World, a continuation of the series could develop a new hero. Sam Wilson became the MCU's new Captain America in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, but he also passed the Falcon mantle onto Danny Ramirez's Joaquín Torres. Torres is returning in Brave New World, too, but he deserves more attention.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier season 2 could reveal more about who exactly Joaquín Torres is, and what his new adventures as the MCU's Falcon might be. As well as developing Joaquín Torres, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier season 2 could answer other mysteries, such as Emily VanCamp's Sharon Carter's mysterious and controversial evolution into the villainous Power Broker.

6 Jessica Jones
Jessica Jones Could Return To The MCU After Daredevil
In conjunction with the January 2024 release of Echo, Marvel Studios confirmed that Netflix's Defenders Saga is, indeed, canon to the MCU. This means that Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Jessica Jones exist in the world of the MCU, and while some have been confirmed to be returning, Jessica Jones' future in the MCU is less clear. Jessica Jones season 3 ended with Krysten Ritter's grounded hero remaining in New York, suggesting she is still operating in the MCU's present day.
Ritter has been relentlessly rumored and teased to be reprising the role of Jessica Jones in the MCU, and this could happen in a potential revival of Jessica Jones. Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock is seeing this treatment with the much-anticipated Daredevil: Born Again in Phase 5, so Jones could be next. This could establish Jessica Jones as a bona fide hero, rather than simply an avoidant private investigator.
Krysten Ritter recently shared an image of herself with purple hair, teasing her return as Jessica Jones' Jewel in the MCU's future.

5 Agent Carter
Peggy Carter’s MCU Story Isn’t Finished Just Yet
Close
Despite originally being released under the old Marvel Television banner, Agent Carter's MCU canon status hasn't been confirmed or denied, suggesting that the Hayley Atwell-led series could return in the MCU. Agent Carter doesn't contradict the MCU's continuity, so it would be great to see Peggy return, particularly since there are many missing years in her MCU story. Agent Carter season 2 took place in 1947, and Carter wasn't chronologically seen again until Avengers: Endgame's 1970-set scenes.
While Agent Carter season 3 could explore these two missing decades, it's also possible that the series could focus on the new super soldier, Captain Carter. This would give Hayley Atwell a much more substantive role. Agent Carter season 3 could also reveal more about Peggy Carter and Steve Rogers' new timeline, or even shine a light on Sharon Carter, Peggy's niece, so there is huge potential for continuing this somewhat-forgotten Marvel series.
Hayley Atwell's Captain Carter is key to What If...?, but made her live-action debut in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

4 Ms. Marvel
Ms. Marvel Has A Bright Future In The MCU
After her successful debut in Phase 4's Ms. Marvel series, Iman Vellani's Kamala Khan joined Carol Danvers and Monica Rambeau on the big screen in 2023's The Marvels. Now that she's back on Earth, however, Ms. Marvel season 2 could be the perfect way to continue Kamala Khan's story, and the series could perhaps detail the formation of the MCU's Young Avengers team. Kamala Khan approached Kate Bishop in The Marvels with the prospect of forming the Young Avengers, so Ms. Marvel season 2 could evolve Kamala into a true leader.
Ms. Marvel is one of the MCU's highest-rated projects ever, so it would be a shame for the series to not continue. This would mark the first time a Disney+ hero made the move to a feature film and then returned to TV, which creates interesting opportunities for Marvel Studios to establish a clearer interconnectivity between its upcoming projects.

3 She-Hulk: Attorney At Law
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law’s Format Begs For More Seasons
Perhaps the most built-for-TV Marvel Studios series that has currently been released is 2022's She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, the MCU's first legal comedy series. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law's episodic format worked for TV perfectly, so it's a shame that a second season hasn't yet been confirmed, as the format begs for more episodes. Unfortunately, lead star Tatiana Maslany has recently expressed doubt that She-Hulk: Attorney at Law season 2 will happen, but there are clear reasons why the series should be continued.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law's cliffhanger ending saw Bruce Banner introduce his son, Skaar, which must be explored more in the MCU's future. Jennifer Walters' relationship with other heroes, including Matt Murdock's Daredevil, could also be investigated further, and recent changes behind the scenes mean that the series' visual effects could be massively improved. She-Hulk is one of the MCU's most exciting new heroes, so she deserves more action.
Related 10 Reasons She-Hulk Season 2 Should Happen Despite Being The MCU's Most Divisive TV Show Tatiana Maslany recently suggested She-Hulk: Attorney at Law won't get a season 2, but there are several reasons why the series should be continued.

2 Luke Cage
Luke Cage Season 2 Ended On A Major Cliffhanger
While Jessica Jones has been speculated to be returning from Netflix's Defenders Saga, there has also been speculation that Luke Cage will have a role in the MCU's future. Luke Cage season 2 ended with a major cliffhanger, which saw Mike Colter's titular Luke Cage become a new crime boss working out of Harlem's Paradise, but this huge development never saw any payoff in the Defenders Saga. Marvel Television producing Luke Cage season 3 could wrap up this storyline, and perhaps evolve Luke into a bona fide hero in the MCU.
In Marvel Comics, Luke Cage becomes a steadfast member and leader of the Avengers team, which would be great to see in the live-action MCU. Mike Colter has recently cast doubt on returning as Luke Cage, but it's possible he could be recast for future MCU adventures. Luke Cage season 3 could breathe new life into the titular hero.
Several Defenders Saga actors have already returned or have been confirmed for the MCU's future, including Charlie Cox, Vincent D'Onofrio, Jon Bernthal, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Wilson Bethel, and Ayelet Zurer.

1 Loki
Loki Season 3 Can Explore The New TVA
Close
Marvel Studios' Loki series is currently the only live-action Disney+ installment to receive two seasons, as was originally planned. While Tom Hiddleston's story as Loki, the new guardian of the multiverse, has perhaps wrapped up perfectly, there is still potential for Loki season 3. Loki season 2 established a new status quo at the Time Variance Authority, so Loki season 3 could explore the new organization, perhaps leading up to Kang the Conqueror's Multiversal War.
Tom Hiddleston hasn't confirmed or denied his return to the MCU, whether in another season of Loki or in an upcoming feature film. However, as one of the most beloved aspects of the Multiverse Saga, it would make sense for Marvel Studios to bring him back. Loki season 3 could introduce new variants to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and expand the overall narrative of the Multiverse Saga in the lead up to Avengers: Secret Wars.
