Todd Howard Is Bethesda's Legacy
His Face Has Become Iconic
Howard is arguably one of the most recognizable names in the entire video game industry having played substantial roles in the development of major hits like the modern Fallout games and the beloved Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. His face is often used as a meme amongst the games' communities as fans sneak it into images and joke about how Howard is always trying to sell Bethesda's games to the public. Some claim that Howard is also responsible for over-hyping the studio's games, such as in the case of the disastrous launch of Fallout 76 in 2018.
As for The Enclave, the faction may not have the influence or power of The Brotherhood of Steel but it's still a force to be reckoned with in the Fallout universe. Consisting of high-ranking politicians and military leads, the organization is largely known for being a supporter of eugenics and aims to eradicate all non-members due to seeing them as mutants that need to be eradicated. They serve as the primary antagonist of Fallout 2 and Fallout 4 but players can, ostensibly, join the group and operate its remaining automated systems in Fallout 76.
Fallout 4 is currently experiencing a massive surge in its community, brought about by the success of the Prime Video series. To celebrate the flood of players both new and old, Bethesda released a next-gen update that introduced some fun new elements but also managed to break many popular mods. Users have spent weeks adjusting many of the fan-made add-ons, going so far as to request that the studio release no more official patches.
