Since its premiere, the show has received multiple notable awards and garnered huge acclaim from critics.

Now, ahead of The Handmaid’s Tale season 6, TVLine reports that Ever Carradine, who plays Naomi Putnam, the ex-wife of Gilead leader Commander Putnam, will become a series regular in the final season of the hit show. Carridine’s character was first introduced in season 1 of the show, and she subsequently went on to appear in 19 additional episodes.

Following the resolution of the strikes, Elizabeth Moss, the show’s main protagonist, announced that the final season of The Handmaid's Tale would begin filming in summer 2024. While there’s been no official confirmation of the cast for the new season, it is expected that most of the cast from season 5 will return. This includes Moss, Yvonne Strahovski, Samira Wiley, Ann Dowd, Sam Jaegar, Bradley Whitford, and O-T Fagbenle.
