As season 14 continues to air, Doctor Who showrunner Russell T Davies confirms that season 15 has wrapped filming for its expected 2025 release. Season 14 marks the first full season of adventures led by Ncuti Gatwa's Fifteenth Doctor following his earlier appearances in 2023's 60th-anniversary, where he regenerated from David Tennant's Fourteenth Doctor. Gatwa's Time Lord is joined by Millie Gibson's new companion Ruby Sunday following their meeting in 2023's seasonal special "The Church on Ruby Road" and will return alongside the Time Lord in 2025.
As Doctor Who season 14 reaches its midway point, Davies confirmed through his Instagram that season 15 surpassed a major production milestone.
In the post, the showrunner confirmed the wrap party had taken place. Davies was joined by season regular Michelle Greenidge in the photo above.
