Summary Furiosa's revenge on Dementus in the new Mad Max movie was brutal, but even more graphic scenes were cut, including removing his tongue.

Anya Taylor-Joy revealed in an interview that she kept Chris Hemsworth's prosthetic tongue from the film as a memento.

Despite not making it to the final cut, the scene where Furiosa removes Dementus' tongue was a choice Taylor-Joy really wanted in the movie.

Furiosa enacts a truly bizarre and memorable revenge on Warlord Dementus at the end of the latest Mad Max movie, but even more brutality was cut out of the finished film, including a moment where Furiosa removed Dementus' tongue, as Taylor-Joy seemingly revealed in a new interview in which she talked about the props she got to keep from the film (via BBC1). So I have my [prosthetic Furiosa] arm but, there's one choice in the movie that I really wanted that didn't make it in, but I wanted it so badly. It's not in the movie, but the prop department gave it to me to take home and that is Chris [Hemsworth’s] tongue. I've got Chris's prosthetic tongue in a box … She silenced him, you know.
