This article covers a developing story. Continue to check back with us as we will be adding more information as it becomes available.
Summary The new Black Noir in The Boys season 4 will shake up dynamics of the Seven, forming an unexpected bond with The Deep.
Actor Chace Crawford enjoys playing alongside Nathan Mitchell and jokes about their characters being like Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb.
The Boys continues to explore the dark side of superheroes in a satirical and action-packed way, exposing their flaws and secrets.
Black Noir II's introduction in The Boys season 4 will disproportionately impact one member of the Seven. The original Black Noir fought beside Soldier Boy in the Payback team. After Soldier Boy disappeared, Noir joined the Seven and helped teach Homelander about how to be a supe. Unfortunately, he eventually irritated Homelander and was brutally murdered by his former friend. In season 4, a new Black Noir will join The Boys' cast and will wear the silent supe's suit. The second Black Noir is sure to be a departure from his predecessor, though both are played by Nathan Mitchell.
In an exclusive interview with Screen Rant's Tatiana Hullender, The Boys star Chace Crawford (The Deep) explains how Black Noir II changes the dynamics of the Seven. The Deep, in particular, finds a friend in the new Noir, and the two function as "Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb". After the bizarre and muted personality of the original Black Noir, it will be a serious departure for the character to stand alongside the hated Deep. Check out Crawford's full quote below:
Yeah, it was good this year! It was nice because Nathan [Mitchell], the actor who plays him, we were all friends with him. To get to actually have some scenes with Nathan was for me very enjoyable. But it is funny, we're like Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb now that it's a different Noir. To have that little back-and-forth just was a delight this year, to be honest. I kind of like to show him the ropes and have that scene where I'm talking about violence. And now I'm remembering, we have [some] funny moments. All that stuff was so much fun for me, and I look forward to it all the time. It was great working with Noir this season, for sure.
