Long before HOUSE OF BRAINIAC, This Villain Proved He’s DC’s Strongest With One Absurd Feat
Summary Brainiac's power and intelligence prove to be a formidable threat, easily defeating every superhero team on Earth.
Brainiac's vast knowledge and immortality make him one of the most dangerous villains in the DC Universe.
Known quantities like the Justice League's familiar formations are easily predicted and defeated by Brainiac's intellect and cunning.
Superman has some of the most powerful villains in comics, which makes sense considering just how absurdly powerful Superman himself is. While Superman has regularly gone up against villains like Darkseid and Doomsday, who have fought the Justice League, neither have defeated every superhero team on Earth like Brainiac did.
In 2018's Justice League: No Justice #1 by Scott Snyder and James Tynion IV, readers are shown just how dangerous Brainiac actually is. To prove that the Justice League isn't fit to stop the coming threat of the Omega Titans, Brainiac methodically takes down not just the Justice League, but the Suicide Squad, Titans, and Teen Titans, and he does it with ease.
Brainiac proves his point when he takes down every superhero team on Earth and this forces the Justice League to listen to his side of the story. While Brainiac came to Earth for a noble reason, the fact he could apparently take the League down at any time is still a terrifying revelation.

Brainiac Proves His Might By Destroying Every Team On Earth
Justice League: No Justice #1 by Scott Snyder, James Tynion IV, Joshua Williamson, Francis Manapul, Hi-fi, and AndWorld Design.
Brainiac has always been one of the more dangerous villains in the DC Universe, as he has far more resources than most. A majority of the villains in DC are centered around Earth, and while characters like Lex seem to have infinite resources due to their wealth, they rarely leave Earth. Brainiac has a universe-spanning villain, as he continually travels around to gather more knowledge. This is also how Brainiac gained the power of immortality, as he learned it from the planet Czarnia during his travels. All of this knowledge has made Brainiac unbelievably dangerous, as he proves effortlessly.
Brainiac is one of the smartest beings in the DC Universe, so giving him known quantities is the surest way to be defeated.
When Brainiac takes down the Justice League, he makes one very important comment. The Justice League, Teen Titans, Titans, and Suicide Squad, are all based on familiar formations. The Justice League almost always has Batman, Wonder Woman, and Superman on it. The Titans almost always have Raven, Beast Boy, Nightwing, Starfire, and Cyborg. This means, that regardless of how powerful the teams are, they're easily predicted, and therefore easily defeated. Brainiac is one of the smartest beings in the DC Universe, so giving him known quantities is the surest way to be defeated, as he proves.

Brainiac has never gone directly against Earth because it's simply been too much effort for little reward. There have been a few alternate futures that show Brainiac does indeed eventually destroy the planet, but for the time being, it's simply not worth it. Brainiac is content to travel the universe and steal knowledge from other planets. This is honestly a good thing, considering Brainiac proved that if he ever did seriously turn his attention to Earth, neither Superman nor the Justice League would be able to stop him.
