Hideo Kojima sees Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga star Tom Burke as a key Metal Gear Solid character. Tom Burke, who plays Praetorian Jack, is a key member of the Furiosa cast, as he serves as Furiosa's mentor. The movie is a prequel to the well-regarded Mad Max: Fury Road, which was released in 2015. It was released domestically on May 24 and had a massive budget of $168 million. Kojima, a renowned video game creator, is currently working on producing a Metal Gear Solid movie, which will be led by Oscar Isaac.
Shortly after the release of Furiosa, Kojima took to Twitter to praise the performances of each of its actors. In the process, he hinted at a future role for Tom Burke.
Kojima praised Chris Hemsworth and Anya Taylor-Joy but had more accolades for Burke. He stated that he could only see Burke as Snake and explained his vision to Burke when the two met in-person. Reportedly, Burke claims that the Furiosa crew said the same when they first began filming.
