Danny Boyle's 28 Days Later was released in 2002, introducing audiences to Cillian Murphy's Jim. Neither Murphy nor Boyle returned for sequel 28 Weeks Later in 2007, though that's set to change with the upcoming third installment. 28 Years Later sees Boyle back as director with a script from original movie writer Alex Garland, and Murphy is set to star opposite Jodie Comer and Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
A new report from the BBC reveals that 28 Years Later is now filming on Holy Island, a picturesque island off the Northeastern English coast. "Hundreds" of locals have reportedly been cast as extras in the film, with the production looking for "athletic types" to play people afflicted with the Rage virus, which turns them into zombie-like monsters.
