Diablo 4: How To Farm Exquisite Blood
In Diablo 4, several kinds of materials are required to summon their corresponding bosses. With the launch of Season 4, Blizzard has updated how these materials can be acquired, making it easier than ever for the community to farm bosses for loot. One such instance is with Lord Zir's summoning materials called exquisite blood.
There are several new ways that exquisite blood can be found, which is an excellent change from only dropping through world bosses and legion events. These cannot be repeatedly farmed as they only spawn in the world every so often, so it could often be a pain to get enough materials. However, with Blizzard adding new and improved loot systems in Diablo 4's Season 4 update, they want the community to be able to farm the standard bosses as much as possible.

Helltides, The Iron Wolves, & Nightmare Dungeons

Season 4 completely reworked Helltides in Diablo 4 and added a new farmable boss called The Blood Maiden. Every time she is slain, she will drop at least 1-2 exquisite blood, making her a fantastic way to farm for this material. Summon her with three baneful hearts, which can be found by opening Helltide chests.
Opening Helltide chests will also grant Iron Wolves renown, which can be used to claim caches with dozens of summoning materials.
Blizzard has also made it so elite enemies can drop boss materials on defeat. This makes nightmare dungeons an excellent way to farm boss materials with how densely packed they are with elites. While not every elite enemy will drop exquisite blood, you are more likely to acquire some by farming nightmare dungeons.

World Bosses, Legion Events, & Public Events

World Events that occur, such as world bosses, legion events, and standard public events, are another way to top off your exquisite blood stash. Season 4 has updated the frequency of how often world bosses spawn, down from every six hours to every three hours, making it easier for the community to engage. Legion events have always dropped exquisite blood, but public events now drop it, too, providing another incentive for players to join the activity.
By summoning Lord Zir with exquisite blood, the player can get several game-changing unique items, such as the Fractured Winterglass amulet or the Lidless Wall shield. Finding items like these can take time, but with exquisite blood being more plentiful than ever, you should have fewer problems completing your character builds in Diablo 4.
