Garfield Movie Box Office Claws Past Huge Global Milestone
The Garfield Movie has made its way past a big box office milestone. Though it released to theaters recently, The Garfield Movie has been subject of discussion for many months due to controversy surrounding Chris Pratt’s character voice as the titular lasagna-loving cat. Pratt’s voice was compared to his Mario voice in The Super Mario Bros. Movie, which sounds startlingly similar despite the two having different roles. The Garfield Movie eventually released to North American theaters this past weekend, on May 24, and internationally a bit before that.
As per Collider, The Garfield Movie has now made it past a major box office milestone. Its global gross is now at $100 million.
