The Bachelor: Joey Graziadei & Kelsey Anderson’s Biggest Relationship Obstacle Revealed
Summary Joey and Kelsey are still figuring out where to live before planning their wedding.
They face a similar obstacle as Gerry and Theresa did with deciding on a home base.
Despite challenges, Joey and Kelsey prioritize honesty and building a healthy relationship.
The Bachelor season 28’s Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson are enjoying their time together without cameras present as they decide on their next step and share their biggest relationship obstacle. Joey, who originally appeared on The Bachelorette season 20 with Charity Lawson, took his opportunity to lead the series seriously, making difficult decisions in the most delicate way possible. As he worked his way through the pool of women who joined the series to compete for his affection, Joey fell for Kelsey, a New Orleans native. After a whirlwind romance and engagement, the pair are building a new life together.
"We’re still trying to figure out where we’re living"
In an interview with TVInsider, Joey and Kelsey opened up about their engagement, sharing what’s next for them and divulging the biggest obstacle they’ve found in their relationship. “It’s been great,” Kelsey shared, prefacing that the couple are happy before turning to the negative. “Since we’re still trying to figure out where we’re living, it’s hard to go into the wedding side just quite yet,” Joey explained, noting that the couple have yet to decide where they’re going to settle down. Originally, Joey and Kelsey had opened up about wanting to move to New York, but plans may have changed.
Do Joey & Kelsey Have The Same Issue Gerry & Theresa Had?
Close
Joey and Kelsey seem to have things under control in their relationship, but the pair may face a similar issue to another controversial Bachelor Nation couple. Though Kelsey shared that they’re excited to “take a breath with all of this craziness happening”, the excuse sounds similar to what viewers heard from The Golden Bachelor’s Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist before their divorce announcement. Gerry and Theresa struggled to come to a compromise on where to live, which likely led to their three-month marriage coming to an end. While Joey and Kelsey are a different couple, the issue sounds eerily similar.
Though Gerry and Theresa’s problems surrounding their home base location likely led to a major wedge between them, Joey and Kelsey’s relationship is vastly different than The Golden Bachelor divorcees. Joey and Kelsey, both still in their twenties, have a different lifestyle than Gerry and Theresa, who are both in their seventies. While they may be struggling to compromise on where to move, the couple has time and space to figure out their next step. The Bachelor couple also don’t have the weight of supporting a marriage on their shoulders yet, as they want to settle before planning their wedding.
While Bachelor Nation may be feeling some distrust with the franchise after the disheartening divorce of Gerry and Theresa, Joey and Kelsey’s relationship is one that many feel they can trust in. Though the couple are still learning about each other and growing in their relationship, they have been open and honest about what’s going on between them, which Bachelor Nation didn’t see with Gerry and Theresa. Joey and Kelsey seem to have an incredibly healthy relationship, and moving forward are prioritizing knowing one another before moving into a marriage together. The Bachelor couple seem to have their priorities straight.
The Bachelor is available to stream on Hulu.
