In a preview for Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong #7 by Brian Buccellato, Christian Duce, and Tom Derenick, Superman is up after his defeat at Godzilla's hands. Batman's new Bat mecha fights Mechagodzilla, but the arrival of the Skullcrawlers makes things difficult. Fortunately, the Green Lanterns are still on the scene and the Green Lantern Robo arrives, standing back-to-back with Batman's robot to defeat a pack of the reptilian Titans.

Green Lantern's Powerful Robot is Equal to Batman's New Mech

Thanks to the Toyman's plundering of the Dreamstone, the villain brought the Titans to the DC Universe, where nearly all of them began running amok across iconic locations like Metropolis and Gotham City. As Lex Luthor had his eyes on recreating Mechagodzilla, Batman led an effort to create his own giant mech to defend the DCU. As Lex arrived in Metropolis, leading an army of Titans, Batman debuted his new weapon. However, he wasn't the only giant robot around as the Green Lanterns pooled their powers to create a giant mech they dubbed 'Green Lantern Robo'.

It's unclear from the preview if this Green Lantern Robo is all the Lanterns reunited or just one (likely Hal Jordan, who's had a sizable presence in the book). There's a good chance it's the latter since Guy Gardner was killed in the previous issue by Gorilla Grodd and Jessica Cruz can be seen providing aid to Beast Boy on the battlefield. If that's the case, though, then that makes this version of the Green Lantern Robo that much more impressive. Batman needed the Justice League's assistance for his mecha, but all Green Lantern needed was his trusty Power Ring.

Green Lantern's Ring is Just as Good as Batman's Resources

Batman might have assets that can help him build some impressive gadgets. But all Green Lantern needs is his ring and a bit of imagination. There's no doubt that Bruce's mecha is impressive, but the Green Lantern Robo didn't cost any money or take nearly as much time to create. The Dark Knight doesn't always appreciate Green Lanterns, but even he has to admit that when an emergency strikes, people like Hal are one of the few who can display ingenuity on par with him. Hopefully, Batman and Green Lantern's mechas are enough to save the day from the Titans.

Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong #7 is available on May 21st from DC Comics.
