Kayko Tells Fans To Stay Tuned For Information About His Upcoming Tour
In the comments section of Kayko's Instagram post, a fan said that they were ready for a tour when he was. Kayko responded by saying, "TOUR COMING SOON!!! Stay tuneddds." On American Idol, Kayko was known for his high-energy performances, so his tour is certain to be a crowd-pleaser.
When Kayko sang his rock version of "Somebody That I Used to Know" during American Idol season 22 Billboard #1 Hits Night, his performance was showstopping. He began the song at the microphone, but then energized the chorus by working the whole stage and jumping around. When Kayko finished singing, Lionel, Katy, and Luke rushed the stage to surround him in a big group hug. The audience cheered loudly, and Lionel shouted, "Three words! Wow, wow, wow!" In an American Idol season during which many of the contestants sang ballads to showcase their vocals, Kayko was always full of surprises with his spirited performances.
Kayko is a fantastic musician who made it through the beginning of the competition singing almost exclusively original songs, including "Time of Your Life," "What If?," "How to Live Without You," and "Over You." In addition, Kayko sang "High & Dry" by Radiohead and "Teenage Dirtbag" by Wheatus, but it was his cover of "Somebody That I Used to Know" that really proved his star quality. While his audition indicated that he might be more of a singer-songwriter type of musician, that performance demonstrated that he could command the stage as a rocker. Kayko is a great entertainer, and his upcoming tour will be electrifying. Kayko might not have won American Idol, but he'll certainly go far in the music industry.
American Idol season 22 is available to stream on Hulu.
