Stellar Blade: How To Unlock Every Ending

Stellar Blade: How To Unlock Every Ending

As you get toward the end of Stellar Blade, you'll slowly approach one of three possible endings. The endings largely depend on your decision following your interaction with Adam at the Nest. While the two main endings are based on a moral question, there are actually two versions of the same ending depending on your progress in the game.

This guide contains spoilers for the ending of Stellar Blade. Read with caution.

One of the three endings to the game is only available based on your relationship with Lily. Lily is one of the most important characters in Stellar Blade, and her survival depends upon which ending you choose and how you play the game prior to the final quest. There are a few points of no return that determine whether your final choice saves or condemns her.

Ending 1: Return To The Colony

The first ending to Stellar Blade is considered by some to be the "bad ending" to the game. As you speak to Adam at the end of the game, he will hold out his hand to you and give you a choice. You can either take his hand and merge with him, or reject his offer.

Return To The Colony is the ending in which you reject Adam's offer and fight him in his true form as the Elder Naytiba. At the end of the battle, Adam will die, Lily will survive, and you'll both return to the Colony.

Make sure you complete what you want to before you pursue this ending, as you cannot keep playing Stellar Blade after beating the game.

Ending 2: Cost Of Lost Memories

The second main ending to Stellar Blade is the more common variant of the "good ending", in which you accept Adam's offer and merge with him. Upon accepting his offer, you'll enter a boss battle with Providence, a giant mech with Lily trapped inside. This battle will result in Lily's death.

If you want this variant of the good ending, you need to avoid getting Lily's progression bar to 100%. When you collect certain items or complete side quests with Lily, you'll grow closer to her, as marked by a bar that will appear on your screen. Cost of Lost Memories is the ending in which you were not close enough to Lily to help her survive.

Ending 3: Making New Memories

Making New Memories is a special variant of Cost of Lost Memories that progresses much the same way as the latter. However, in this playthrough, you'll need to fill Lily's bar to 100% prior to accepting Adam's offer. You can increase Lily's affinity for you by working on her side quests and collecting cans, memory sticks, and documents. Your affinity with Lily will increase when you reach certain collection milestones.

You can technically get all three endings in one playthrough by saving a New Game + version of Stellar Blade prior to completing Abyss Levoire and saving the game before you accept/reject Adam's hand.

Make sure you pay attention to the two main points of no return in the game in order to find all the collectibles possible. The first occurs after completing Abyss Levoire. When you finish this area, you won't be able to return to the city of Xion, so make sure you finish in the city before moving on.

Later on, when you finish exploring Spire 4, you won't be able to explore any other area of the map. If you fill up Lily's bar before finishing Spire 4, you should get the secret ending to Stellar Blade.
