Tracy Morgan is set to star in Crutch, a spinoff of the six-season CBS sitcom The Neighborhood. Morgan is well known for his role as Tracy Jordan, which he portrayed throughout 30 Rock, in addition to his time as a cast member on Saturday Night Live.
Morgan is returning to television comedies, with Paramount announcing that the veteran performer will star in The Neighborhood spinoff, Crutch. Set to premiere on Paramount+, Crutch will see Morgan star as the cousin of Calvin (Cedric the Entertainer). The character is named Francois “Frank” Crutchfield. According to the official summary, Frank is a Harlem widower and his empty nest plans are put on hold after his millennial son and free-spirited daughter move back home. Frank's friends call him Crutch.
