Yellow Answers: Revealed & Explained

CONTAINER CLOSURES CAP CORK LID TAB

For today's Connections game, we ended up scoring all the categories in the order that the game claims are easiest to hardest. So yellow, green, blue, and then purple. The genericness of the words in today's game were a bit confusing for us at first and we really spent a long time trying to decipher. There was a few attempts wasted following some incorrect trails but once we saw CAP and LID we started to match things up a bit better.

Our focus was on 'Hats' at first with FUR, CAP, and LID but we just couldn't find a fourth word. This is where CORK came in and we realized our thoughts were headed in the wrong direction. Add TAB and we started our journey to victory in today's game.

REGULATE CHECK CONTAIN CURB LIMIT

With only eight words left the game became much easier, although it wasn't a guaranteed win. We couldn't shake the thought of 'Snake' being a category with VENOM and EGG, but just couldn't match up much more than that. LIMIT and CURB were the two words that started the blue category win for us though and after that, it was a quick jaunt to the winners circle.

Purple Answers: Revealed & Explained

TRADEMARKS OF A PLATYPUS BILL EGG FUR VENOM

I had no idea what these words were connected to. I didn't even know a platypus was venomous. The only two things I do know are that they are psychic, and excellent detectives. Psyduck and Perry will prove me right on these accounts.
