When Will Wednesday Season 2 Arrive?
Close
This Wednesday season 2 post is a good indicator that production on the sophomore season is in full swing. The first season of the Addams Family spinoff show hit Netflix in the fall of 2022, so fans will be eager for this next installment. Right now, Wednesday season 2 is scheduled for 2025 but does not yet have a concrete release date. Hopefully, the production on the show will mean that the next adventures at Nevermore will come sooner rather than later.
The disruptions of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes in 2023 are part of what has caused this disruption in the production of Wednesday season 2. Coming out of the strikes, however, Netflix made clear that Wednesday was one of its main priorities, along with Stranger Things. Both Stranger Things and Wednesday have been record-setters for Netflix, bringing in millions of viewing hours for the platform.
Between Netflix’s prioritizing of Wednesday season 2 and the set photos revealing active production, the future looks bright for the release date of this season. If everything goes right, Wednesday should be arriving within the early half of 2025 rather than later. In the meantime, fans of the show will just have to keep guessing as to what the next plots of Nevermore have in store.
