90 Day Fiancé’s Big Ed Brown Reveals If He’s Quitting After Liz Split
Summary Big Ed Brown reflects on past mistakes and seeks real love, hinting at a return to reality TV if given the chance.
Mature Ed respects his new partner's privacy, considering leaving the show for her sake.
Despite the breakup with Liz, Ed's growth is evident as he pursues a conservative Christian woman his age.
Big Ed Brown opens up about his future in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. The 59-year-old Arkansas native was truly in love with his partner, Liz Woods, a few years ago. Ed wanted to marry Liz and build a family together. Unfortunately, Ed’s feelings changed after he moved to Arkansas with Liz. After a huge fight with Liz, Ed had an epiphany that marrying her would be a big mistake. He broke up with Liz in 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 8 unexpectedly. He canceled the wedding and quickly moved on from her.
Recently, Ed did an exclusive interview with ET Online, discussing his plans for reality TV. He said he would return to the franchise if the network gave him “the opportunity.” Ed also hinted at what’s next for him. He said his goal was to find “real love” and described his ideal partner as a “conservative Christian woman.” Ed said, “right now, I am meeting a lot of fantastic women,” revealing that he’s only seeing ladies who are closer to his age and work in the real estate industry like him.

Ed also opened up about his current love interest. He is pursuing a woman from Arkansas who is way more private than him. He claimed that if things worked out with her, he may not return to TV again just to respect her boundaries. The 90 Day Fiancé franchise star said, “the first thing I would do most definitely number one was respect my future partner’s privacy.” He admitted that he would “walk away” from reality TV for the sake of his new relationship. Ed jokingly added, “unless it’s a different, you know, HGTV, a remodeling show or something fun.”
Seeing Ed mature so much within such a short period is great. When he was with Liz, he didn’t have the mental space to improve himself. He was constantly in arguments and facing unnecessary drama. Now, Ed is finally free to realize what’s best for him. He knows his ideal partner isn’t a young single mom but someone as mature as him. Ed is also right to want someone working in the real estate industry. He wants to bond with the person deeply and perhaps earn a lot of money together.
While Ed comes across as a heartless man for breaking up with Liz, what he did was right. Instead of wasting more time, Ed took it upon himself to end his relationship.
He did it because he knew it was best for him and Liz. In 2024, Ed and Liz are living their best lives. Ed is actively looking for a conservative Christian woman who respects and loves him. Liz has already found someone else who cares for her and keeps her happy. It seems the 90 Day Fiancé franchise couple did get their happily ever after, just not together.
90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? airs Sundays at 8 p.m. EDT on TLC.
