Zangoose is a regional Pokémon and is usually only found in certain parts of the world, but during the event, it will appear in the wild for all players. This includes a higher chance of finding a shiny version in any encounters you have.

One of the perks of the current Rivals Week is an increased chance of encountering Shiny versions of six Pokémon, including Zangoose.

The most reliable way of guaranteeing an encounter with a Zangoose is through Raid Battles. During Rivals Week 2024, Zangoose is appearing in three-star raids. While challenging, solo players can beat it if you attempt it with the right Pokémon.
